What is your take in Otaku? (highly obsessive anime/manga "fans")?

PS: and I don't mean your average "fan", I mean those that have to sleep next to a life sized doll of their beloved characters, and those that feed images of said characters in their computers...

- Is their life, and they can do anything with it.
- If they live in a cave then why worry?
- I think they need HELP
- I want a girl/boyfriend like that.
- So what is wrong with my life style?
- No problem!!! they won't have children so we are actually cleaning the gene pool.

Well, I don't know if this poll has been suggested already, but here it goes:

Me & my friends came to the conclusion that it's impossible for us to really pick only one of these, so I think it would be interesting to see what others would choose

how about: how often do you check for new chapters for series you're reading?

-once a week (i.e saturdays for shounen jump, etc.)
-every other day
-everyday
-every hour
-every minute
-keep refreshing until you see a new chapter for one of the series you are reading

i think bleach has a lot of cool charecter personalities

I m not sure ths ws done b4 but in case it hasnt been, I'd like to suggest something like 'do u think that the shounen genre has been exploited to the extreme?' or 'do u think it is possible to create a shounen with absolutely no cliches or reference to any previous ones?' and also the same question for shoujo genre with the choices of yes, no, maybe, dont know/dont care and hope not.
