You find a new manga series. Other than the synopsis/plot, what is the other main force that will make you decide to read the manga?
- the art/character designs
- if the manga is complete or not
- the categories/genres
- the author
- its rating/reviews
- how popular it is


Isekai series have been around for a while. Inuyasha, Fushigi Yuugi, etc. But within the last 4 years or so, the amount of series with this plot exploded. A LN magazine contest even barred would-be writers from submitting these types of stories.

What is your opinion on the amount of "isekai" stories (being transported/reincarnated to another world) being released:
- was fun at first, the trend needs to die now
- I'm enjoying the trend, keep them coming
- Fine, as long as it doesn't have RPG/game elements (like classes, level systems, etc. )
- No opinion

"If you had the necessary skills, how willing would you be to do scanlations?"

with variants ranging from "No, don't want to", "No, don't have the time" to "I'd release a chapter or two occasionally" and "I'd join a team and scanlate weekly" or "Already do".

There was a similar poll back in 2011, but since Netflix!Death Note has stirred up a lot of talk lately ...

Thoughts on western adaptations of Japanese manga/ anime you enjoy?

- I'll watch them regardless/ out of curiosity
- I'll watch if there's an actor, director, writer, etc involved in the process that I like
- I might watch them (loyalty to the original story is my biggest concern)
- I might watch them (production quality is my biggest concern)
- I might watch them (staying true to original character designs is my biggest concern)
- I might watch them (the greatest deciding factor for me isn't listed)
- Western filmmakers can do what they want, but I'm not likely to watch any of their adaptations
