What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)
No difference in translation but have a translation note

As an example of the above, I'm referring to things like "[Series] Volume 1 sold over 1 million copies! [Author] thanks you for your support!" at the beginning of a chapter, or "[Series] will go on break starting next week, and will continue on [Later Date]" at the end of a chapter.

No idea if you’ve run this one... and it’s one my group has been debating internally...

Many manga have a glutten of interobangs.

Example !? ?! ...!? In a bubble alone, not to mention to terminate a sentence.

My actual question here, is how many feel reading a line ...!? Changes when modded to end with just a ! Or ?
What about speech bubbles with only the interobangs... does it affect how you read it!?

Why did you initially join MU?
-To look for new manga to read
-To participate in the forums (or specifically, post about a manga you're trying to find in "I'm Looking For" biggrin)
-To create my own manga lists
-To recruit for my scanlation group
(You can add more reasons here.)

How often do you post in the forums?
-I used to post a lot, but not anymore.
-Occasionally.
-Nearly every time I log in.
-Never. I only come here for updates.

How did you find out about MU?
-From a friend
-Through another site
-Through Baka-Updates when it was still alive
-It's been so long I don't even remember anymore.

It's also probably time to have another "When did you join MU?" to see if active users are mainly oldies or newbies.

Don't know if this one has been done before. Similar to the Supernatural Poll. Lots of Manga with Aliens in them.
