With the pope set to resign near the end of the month i'm wondering what it means to you?
If you are a catholic how do you think it will affect you?
is he really a need for a pope in the 21st century?
did you like the pope?
if you are a non-catholic, how do you think it will affect you?

First thought that came to mind was: "Who gives a crap."
To answer your questions:
-I'm not a catholic.
-No, I don't think we need a pope.
The Vatican is like a monarchy, just with more power an influence - both are essentially useless in today's world.
They suck money off of hardworking people by selling themselves, like high class prostitutes.
-I had no special feelings about this pope. I've never had any kind feelings for any pope, or for any high ranking religious (i.e pop idol) figure for that matter.
-Me personally? I'm not sure. It hasn't affected me until now, at least, not in a way I'm aware of.
I don't think any good comes from popes though.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

I'm not catholic (although I was raised to be), or religious in any way, so it doesn't really affect me.
But I can see it affecting a lot of people. A lot of my friends went to see him and were excited when he came to our country as it was a once in a lifetime chance.
But I guess it's really personal~
