There's a "Fashionable Female Lead" tag, but I feel like there's got to be more works than the 11 related manga that it's applied to. Basically though I'm looking for what the title describes, with my preference for the male lead being someone who complements the female lead nicely (i.e isn't necessarily a handsome playboy type or an identical male counterpart of the female protagonist).
Velvet Kiss was the first example that came to mind while typing this; I think it meets what I'm looking for in terms of both male and female protagonists pretty nicely.
I feel like this is probably more commonly seen in shoujo or josei and I'm perfectly open to those suggestions if they're well-done, but I'm also interested in seeing good examples of this in shounen or seinen romance if you have any. Thanks!

First thing that comes to my mind is Emma. Of course in the start she isn't that fashionable given her conditions. It is on your wish list...

I'm looking for fashionable leads in more of a modern context, although Emma is one of those manga that's been burning a hole in my backlog. Thanks.

When I think of well dressed, this manga pops into my mind Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 I love all the main female lead outfits, always so cute and classy. Anyway, hopefully you'll like it.

Does punk style still consider fashionable if done well? In Berry Dynamite, although the Main Female Lead is forced to wear super cutesy girl clothes because of her job, she always wear rocker-punk style clothes during her free time.
And though the most of the characters are only seen in their school uniforms in the first half of Ciel, the clothes everybody wears (especially the main characters) are very stylish in the later half of the manga IMO.

I second Paradise Kiss. Definitely the first story that comes to mind...
Beyond that... probably just other Ai Yazawa works like Nana.

Tokyo Alice - Though I'll warn you, scanlations are slow and the series is very female-oriented. Lots of relationship problems among the female cast and a clear preference to shopping on the part of the heroine. Love interest is a salaryman, and though there's some resistance early on, I feel they suit/complement each other quite well.

Male lead is a little off-putting but it does seem to be what I'm looking for in terms of the female lead. Looks like it's well-received too which is reassuring. I'll keep my eye on it.

Been meaning to watch the anime. Might check it out sooner if it meets what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Not quite what I'm looking for, although that scenario is appealing for different reasons, haha. When I say fashionable, I'm looking for more of a modern elegance and stylishness, if that makes sense.

Kimi wa Pet -- she's like... a model... with brains... and a career.
Another one in my backlog, the art's a little off-putting but I love Older Female Younger Male dynamics so I'll probably check it out soon, especially if it meets this criteria.

The outfits in this might be a little too over the top for me, but I can't help but be drawn to these OFYM stories, haha. Thanks for the suggestion.

This seems to be what I'm looking for in terms of the female lead and the male love interest, but that scanlation rate is a dealbreaker. Thanks though.
