Let's say you wanted to read a new manga, and all you had was the day's list of new releases. If you could only click one or two, which would you pick?

I'm curious as to what kinds of titles people find more interesting.

For me, I'd pick out titles like "Assassination Classroom" (long name yet just two words, and the S's give it unity), "Darwin's Game" (reference to someone I know of), and "Mrs Angel" (modern term + mythological being).

Regardless of whether the stories end up good or not, what are titles that pop out at you, and are there any in the past that really left an impression?

personally i go by chapters rather than names (usually click on whatever just ended (i hate waiting weeks and months between chapters- if it doesnt just get dropped all together.))

but sometimes when its slow and i DO randomly click by name i click ones that sound cool or interesting. like right now the five i would click would be.. taiyou wa ochite kuru, Ore ga Doutei blah blah blah, donten ni warui, mel kano, and kegare

all of which are very unappealing when you see what they are :/

sometimes i luck out and find good ones-- but random picking doesnt usually work.

I tend to click on titles that are 1-2 words and easy to pronounce lol...For example, from the release list, Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga is something I would probably not click on lol.

I don't pick random titles too... I always use my filter (pink for yaoi, shounen-ai or gender bender). But if I want something new, I would do the same as randomreader, click in anything marked as "ch. X (end)". Also, I don't like English titles (like in your examples), so I tend to avoid them.
In the New Releases, I would click anything that sounds nice and easy/quick to read, like Kabu no Isaki, 3 Level Combination (oh well, in English, but a nice name), Kangokujima, Hinatama... Almost all of them sound like nice mangas. If not, then a title with a japanese word I know the translation (and, as you can see, if it's a long title, I tend to only read the first or last word), like "Taiyou" in Taiyou ga Ochite Kuru, "Neko" in Mahoutsukai no Neko, or nice japanese words, like "Kashiwagi" in Mielino Kashiwagi, "Wakadaishou" in Oira Houkago Wakadaishou, "Nanda" (this one reminds of my name) in Kimi ja Nakya Dame Nanda, but for the last two ways of picking, not the best mangas... Too bad.

I am usually an all read type, so i'll read any manga, but the ones i usually excludes is if it is not manga. Lets say, Manhwa or chinese comics.

SO i'll click according to the date as what manga comes first in the list. Don't get fooled by my read list, as the read list only have few that i add (or decided to add )coz they are in priority read list.

coz that sounded interesting
turned out to be some moe shit so ...dissapointed with my first pick

Divine Bells
webtoon...skorea...omg awful awful awful...alot worse than my first pick

odd names that stand out that i tried[and liked] just bcoz i saw their name on the release page
I Am a Hero
Oreimo

anything with wolf,ookami would make me click it[might be about werewolfs]

Something that's dramatic such as this ugly yet beautiful world..

Hmmm... I choose manga not by the title but more with plot or cover XD Well, I do choose manga sometimes by the title... Here are some titles that attracted my attention

Perfect Couple
Clearly, for me this manga is disappointing. I expected more because of the title. The title looks cute and should have prefect couple... etc... kay next..

Lady Detective

That title attracts me since I love mangas with female lead and has something to do with mysteries... Love this manga... <3

Nineteen, Twenty-One

The title seems interesting coz' we all know it skipped number twenty. The first thing that popped out into my mind is that the lead went to a coma or someone went to a coma... Only problem is, the start of the manga didn't really grabbed my attention

Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu
This title seems to grabbed my attention. I don't know why.. One look at the manga title it feels like as if I know that I will enjoy reading this manga. Which I do..

Her Majesty's Dog

Well I was attracted by the title mainly because of the 'dog' part. LOL. I mean just by looking at the tile you can tell its a master and servant This manga is one of my favorites

I like Japanese titles with just one or two words (ex. 'Uwasa no midori' or 'Akai hana'). If not, I go for an English name that doesn't sound too cheesy.
