There'll be spoilers ahead, I suggest only reading if you are up to date with reading Bokura no Kiseki.

So, who do you think is the master mind behind
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Nanaura's shenanigans
?

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Personally, looking back and forth at the between the past and the present, Nanaura has constantly reinforced the fact that he is a Zerestrian Squire, if you look at chapter 20, Maki directly states that he being a squire must be a lie, with him restating that he is indeed one.
What could possibly make him so loyal to someone, while reinforcing the fact he's a squire?
Could it be, that Veronica's elder brother is commanding him? Is that why his loyalty isn't yielding? Of course, there isn't any evidence to her brother being reincarnated, but still. The whole "I had no choice but to obey. That person..." Is totally pointing to her brother, or maybe it's just me overthinking. If it's true, it just adds another "why" into the scenario.
But it's still odd to lump him together Lucas and Veronica's betrothed -I can't remember the prince's name, so I will forever call him this till I remember- because if that flashback serves to be correct, and they did indeed orchestrate the whole war, why would Nanaura ally himself with them? Wouldn't he be rather angry that they destroyed the castle?
Unless he was a traitor from the very start, which wouldn't be surprising considering how he reacted after the whole alibi thing (between him, Yuu, and Harusumi Minami, I forget which chapter that was in specifically.)

There is the possibility that the mastermind is Glen, but even back from the blackboard message, they did state that it didn't sound like Glen. The way that things are moving in the manga make it feel as if he's not involved at all. Of course I could be wrong >.>...

So what're your thoughts? Who do you think it is?

personally, i think it's..........

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the prince. hell, he's never seen so that it's too suspicious. i mean........ what happened after Veronica and him fought? that isn't explained.......!!! :o

though, if i think it again......... it may be..........
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Glenn, he has an important role in this manga but strangely his reincarnation was never shown. that's so suspicious..... though the motive behind it may not intended to go against Veronica. he may only want to see Veronica and as fellow Veronica's guards, Nanaura follow his commands. IMHO, he's quite cunning.

but still........... i guess i have wait again.........
this is confusing.

I know, it is indeed quite confusing.
Hopefully the mastermind will be revealed within the next few chapters.

I'm getting confused all of a sudden..
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I mean, Zeze did sound like Prince Eugene but isn't he just.. a little out of character? I'm not sure though since the manga was full of deceptions. But Zeze looks way too uhh innocent? or ignorant to be Prince Eugene.

And now that @Mikashi says it..
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I think it could also be possible that the older brother could be the one ordering Nanaura.. But why? Why does he hate Veronica so much? (If he did.. maybe it's because she didn't receive the education a royal would? *said so in one of the chapters*)

I didn't even think up to the Glen part, but now I'm very much open to all possibilities that I'm starting to NOT TRUST/DOUBT EVERY CHARACTER IN THE MANGA EXCEPT VERONIKA AND RIDA. If Glen was the culprit all I could say was.. WHYYYYYY? Oh god whyyy? All I could think of was that it's because Veronica accepted the marriage but it doesn't make sense at all. Didn't they tell the others that they are just friends and is rather surprised to be called lovers? It couldn't be that he was aware of his feelings thus, harbor hatred to Veronica.

GAHHHHH I NEED THE NEXT VOLUME RIGHT NOW

The characters' identities are mostly still in the dark. I get the feeling that some revelations are drawing near, though.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
After finishing chapter 24, I think Zeze might be Glen or at least someone who holds no ill-will towards Veronica. He feels too humble and delicate to be a sheming character like Prince Eugene. Plus, the way he said "A little Miss with no troubles on her mind", which I intepret as a quote from his past life, disqualifies him from being Bishop Moston or Lucas Langeais - he wouldn't say such a thing if he weren't in love with someone. It might be part of Glen's wishful thinking for Veronica and their situation, on the other hand Minami and Hiroki said that Glen and Veronica weren't conscious of their feelings for each other. Everything is so clouded...

As for Nanaura, I believe him to be working reluctantly for the mastermind, the one who wrote the message on the board which is allegedly by Prince Eugene. I'm not sure if the prince is behind all of it but it would make sense because a Zerestrian squire wouldn't be too happy cooperating with Moswickians. Whoever gives him orders might be blackmailing him. At least that is what I get from Nanaura's tensed conversation with Maki in the recent chapter.

after reading chapter 34, hell i'm so confused
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
yeah, i'm almost sure Zeze is the prince. though it implied that Prince Eugene himself isn't the mastermind for everything which had been done. damn, he got some tender moment with one of his subjects! but the whole about Hiroki as Glen............... wait whut?!!!! why Hiroki?? WHYY??! though because of this i can say Glen isn't the mastermind either. so............ who now?!! damn..........there's too many twists~~~~~
