I've been searching for days for a manga that I've read before but just can't seem to find now sad It's probably not even worth the effort, but the longer I look the more I feel I need to find it! D:<

The plot is based on a tutor/student relationship. The student turns out to be incredibly smart, deliberately keeping his grades low so that the tutor would have to pay attention to him. This just makes the tutor feel duped. The student then travels overseas for a number of years before returning as an adult. The tutor has become a public servant or something? The tutor has glasses.

:< I know this is super vague, sorry. Thanks for any help!

I love it too! Not the one I'm looking for though sad The art style is somewhat similar from what I remember, so I looked through Honma Akira's other works but it wasn't there either.

I think the story begins with the tutor at his government job where the ex-student suddenly appears after being overseas for years. Then it flashes back to when the student was in middle school and acted deliberately dumb so that his parents would keep hiring the tutor. Then when his parents decided to move he dropped the charade and his test results were awesome, so the tutor felt like a fool. /desperate!

Oh man! I was just re-reading Rabbit Man, Tiger Man and I realised you were referring to the second story! I didn't know it was in there, so I was only thinking of the first story (which is cute too biggrin) Ahhh thank you so much <3
