What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')

My friend is asking me for a realistic manga where the couple is struggling with gaining acceptance regarding their relationship from their environment, family and friends. As I usually avoid angst, I can't really come up with anything. Any help would be appreciated! biggrin
