Very interesting chapter. After kubo was forced to continue bleach, i was pretty sure it was going to end badly, very forced and all but it's been great. The plot fits whats been happening and fills holes that everyone has been wondering about since day one. Mainly ichigo's parents.

Anyways masaki fell for isshin though isshin is a bit skeptical and surprised though plays it cool to her. I wonder how sandals guy kisuke will act. His "happy go lucky" attitude is only in the present. More likely than not he himself is a cynical hermit that's trying to plot revenge.

Great that the manga is moving ahead. Even with the story behind Isshin and Masaki. And Ryuuken and that maid. There is definitely more things coming up. Who was that Hallow for one.

Good job to Kubo, keeping things interesting.

The most interesting part besides Urahara look was Aizen asking why the hollow chose a human Quincy. That raised some flags. Maybe she was infected by something that will get transferred or result in Ichigo thus explaining his power and Urahara's interest in him.

I'm starting to think maybe Isshin voluntarily left SS and then maybe was banished or stripped of his captaincy.

I'm not sure Isshin gets exiled, so much as he loses his powers through the final getsuga. This has been aluded to many times since the revelation that he was a shinigami, most notably when he sneaks into Ishida's training center and Ryuken says something along the lines of "Have your powers returned?"

Interestingly, Isshin's real last name is lampshaded in that scene also, because Isshin says "That's the first time you called me 'Kurosaki.'"

I'm talking about chapter 241, for reference.

Well we know now that Ichigo got his name from his mother, probably so no one from SS (Urahara or random shinigami passing through) would recognize his name since it is a rather famous surname thus protecting his family from SS interference.

Now that you mention it the final getsuga seems like the likely explanation, but then it would contradict what was said when Ichigo used it since it was supposed to take his powers away forever, but Isshin is regaining his power and that means the Fullbringer arc was useless because it was supposed to be about getting powers back that could not be brought back.

Alternatively I would suggest that Isshin may have lost some of his power from being in the human world too long in a false body and that comment is not about him regaining all his powers but restoring his old level of power.

The Fullbring Arc was just so off the wall. I'm sure it'll be more relevant in the future, I'm sure Kubo will put it somewhere where it will have a big impact.
