This is a saving grace for gaming. It actually has people who worked on the games directly involved in the production.

Films based on games are always made by people who just don't understand the source material and as a result transform them into cliche hollywood trash. Although the fact that this is animated could change peoples perception of it as just an animated film rather than a videogame adaptation.
