Hi guys! So I just finished catching up on Horimiya and I really want to read similar mangas!

I'd like a likable female lead and interesting male lead. Not the typical cute/ handsome/ bishounen/ bishoujo leads. (I'd like it to be a romance manga, too). I also really like an involved supporting cast, you know? All with individual personalities and roles.

Other examples of this kind of thing are Cat Street and The One.

The rest I don't really care about. It can be Action or Fantasy or Sci-Fi or Shounen or Josei, I really don't care.

The series that gives me the closest feel to Horimiya is Bonnouji

While very different I really like the characters in Gin no Saji, it's got some great humor and an interesting and original setting.

Definitely Oresama Teacher and Skip Beat!! They're both funny and interesting although romance is very slow. I understand Skip Beat! has a lot of bishounen, the story is definitely an A+(for me). Both female leads are likeable indeed.

Of course Love Com too! One of the funniest and interesting manga!!! Both female and male leads are super cute!(in terms of behaviour)

Last Game - Awesome. I really like the female lead and the story is good!
My Hero! - Refereshing plot with interesting male lead!
Tokyo Crazy Paradise - Really a great manga!
Nodame Cantabile - Nodame~~ Interesting female lead.
Ouran Koukou Host Bu - Really likeable female lead.
Warau Kanoko-sama - Interesting female lead!
Koi dano Ai dano - Sequel of Warau Kanoko-sama.
Matsuri Special - Likeable male lead!

This is all I can remember now. Although some of them above contains bishounen, please still give them a try!! They're all really nice.

Imagine what would happen if there were no more hypothetical situations.

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is Dorohedoro, an action with two interesting female and male leads, hints of romance, and the side characters get their own little arcs. Very good manga, super interesting characters, even the antagonists are fleshed out and different. It's also incredibly funny.

I really enjoyed the casts of Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, Love Roma, and Eyeshield 21, if you don't mind a sports manga.

Interesting, I think I ended up disliking the manga because of the male lead (and the female lead...), lol... but then I don't like lame "nice guys" for female protagonists...
