I remember that like Ouji to Hero, the girl was a new student. She fell for a popular, smart, handsome, and well off guy. He was in something like an advanced class while she was in something like the class for rejects.

Guy claims he likes her back, they date for a bit. Turns out he was faking it. He was only interested in her because a classmate of hers liked her. Apparently he and the male classmate had a past.

But in the end it turns out the popular guy likes the girl. But she's dating the other guy now.
