NO ECCHI!
NO MANHWA!
NO YAOI!

I was rewatching Brave 10 when I realized it's not gonna have what I want. Was only really planning on watching the first ep while trying to find that anime I just can't remember name of so oh well. Anyways, I want a character who stays cold throughout the whole series, or at least for a long time. I don't want it already decided he's going to open his heart to the bitch beside him basically.

Well, tbh, not necessary cold, but someone who does things their own ways and not easily influenced or provoked. I guess you can say someone who stays rational whatever is said to them... Um... I guess, that little bit at the start of Brave 10, and stuff like Ghost Hunt and things. A bit cold, but that's just cause of circumstances, or their own personality that don't want to change.

Here's what I'm not looking for:

Stone heads, or dense girls. Just not realizing someone likes them, or they are in love, does NOT count. Worse, having them turn 180 degrees after something so minor as a change in their love life, that's completely out.

Just having a poker-face doesn't count! I'm not looking for someone who's only cold in expression. They can be or not be a poker-face, that really doesn't matter.

Simply not used to being around ppl, but has their whol mind on how to get along or please someone, obviously out. Basically, not the clumsy type in a comedy. Neither do I want anyone just acting cold to hide embarrassment.

Other than that, there's not much requirements. I take almost all genres. Generally speaking though, I don't prefer romance especially smut, and I like fantasy, maybe a bit of drama and tragedy that doesn't kill the protagonist. But, that's generally speaking. I don't have a strong preference so yea, anything goes.

Kaze no Stigma?

Nope, as far as I care, that's what I DON'T want. He got too close to the girl.

I do think I very clearly mentioned, no manhwa, at all.

Well... IDK. I have my doubts on it, but will try it seeing as that's my only option lol! Hopefully Ayano isn't too much in too way.

Your looking for a loner protag. those are hard to find but Berserk he rocked solo for a while or Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou he stayed to himself.

Gakuen Alice
Noblesse (webtoons, at least they are better than manhwa :])
Kuroko no Basuke
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007
Sengoku Youko
Ubel Blatt (warning: have lots of mature scenes)

Noblesse is still considered manhwa

Thank you for mentioning that! I get recommended webcomics all the time saying they aren't manhwa but THEY ARE!!!

Other than that, Kaze no Stigma was better than I thought. I watched the anime though, since it had one. Ending slipped a little but oh well... First few eps were epic.

I went and read Jiraishin. Not bad, it fits too. I'm wasn't exactly looking for kinda episodic ones, but yea, the character fits so who cares lol.

Lets see... I'm already reading: Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, Vinland Saga, Ubel Blatt. I have already read and either forgot about it dropped: Kuroko no Basuke, Keishichou Tokuhanka 007, and I *think* Gakuen Alice. Probably not gonna go back to reading: Noblesse. As for Hellsing, Vampire Hunter D and Kokou no Hito, I do remember reading them, but dropping within the first few chapters. I remember watching Hellsing's anime long time ago, and what was it? The slow release? IDK, memory too blurry. Might go back to reading both of them.

That leaves Sengoku Youko which I'm gonna go try right now. Seems interesting enough, and cover's nice lol. Nice and simple.

Thanks for all the suggestions, though most of them I already know of.

Totally forgot to mention, I take anime too. And in that case, I don't mind a little ecchi as long as it's not as far as hentai. I'm totally fine with mature and rape and all that, not like my mom's watching my back when I'm reading anyways lol.

Yeah, Berserk definitely classic for the stoic Bad-a dark fantasy type. One of the best ever and every manga fan should read...Mugen no Juunin is another classic, kinda in the same vein, and the mangaka just finished up so it's complete.

Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou - definitely cold type, does his own thing, w/ lots of action/violence and crazy characters (may have some disturbing parts for some people, see giant tag that starts with "R" and ends with "E" - but personally, I love the violent mangas!)

Shin Angyo Onshi - fantasy, guy with dark past, anti hero type, action

Sienen, definitely the genre you will find most these character types. I suggest checking under tag for "anti-hero"
