Hi there. First I want to thank all of you. For years, google has been pointing me to this forum every time I'm awake at 2am searching for manga to read. I've received countless help finding awesome mangas, so thanks! =]

I'm mainly looking for a gender bending romance between a crossdressing male and ideally a female who crossdressers, but that's not necessary. There are lots out there, but specifically I'm looking for one where the female is taller than the male, and also more aggressive. So far, the best I've found is Choku!, which is hilarious. Pump up! is also cute, but the girl is kinda too girly. I don't really appreciate the wig-wearing either.

Lastly, any gender-bending in sword and sorcery, or even sci-fi, would be nice. It would be nice to see it in a non-high school setting. Thanks again!

Hmm.. I don't recall any manga I've read that fits your description... Instead of crossdressing, their genders were switched when they were reincarnated. Yukarism I'm not quite certain if this fits, but here you go biggrin

Samurai High School is a school setting, but everything else sounds exactly like what you're looking for.

Second this! The Main Female Lead is very manly while her brother is more feminine. And although it takes place in a school setting, it's pretty wacky and has lots of sci-fi elements xD

I also agree Yukarism is really good! The Main Male Lead has a sorta 'womanly' air around him, while the Main Female Lead has a 'manly' personality. It is explained and becomes more apparent later in the story. wink

For the second one, how about:

1/2 Prince
Saver
Basara
Operation Liberate Men
Amakusa 1637
Tales from the Land of Daughters - ShengNan's Story

For the first:

Pretty sure that there are a few story arcs where both of them crossdress in Usotsuki lily, though its not constant, usually its only the guy that crossdresses. (though they're about the same high...maybe the guys taller thinking about it...) Although I would say that majority of the time the girl's more aggressive...but they swap sometimes.

Ai o Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero! has the guy thats girly and the girl thats guyish. They both crossdress on various occassions. Though the guy is more aggressive.

Pheromomania syndrome similar to ai o utau but less smutty and the guy is slightly more aggressive, though they're usually on par....

For the second:
tart's already mentioned the best ones but some others are:

Rure
Kaze yo, banri wo kake yo
Scarlet palace
Sarasah
Knight princess
Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken
Legend of nereid
Alfheim no kishi

I've either read most of these, or they don't really have a feminine male lead. I guess I didn't specific this in terms of the sword and sorcery category, but for instance, 1/2 Prince really isn't that genderbender-ish.

I've read Blaue Rosen. It is SO disappointing. The cover art makes Mizuki look like a seme, but she's a total wuss. =( With the exception of when Akira puts on cat ears, Mizuki pretty much behaves like a normal girl. Boring. Pheromomania Syndrome seems to have the same problem. Why is a masculine seme female x feminine uke male SO hard to find?

Anyway, thanks for the responses everyone!

These two are wonderful. Well at least Dark Air is, I haven't given Id much of a try. Melrose reminds me of a character I often play in DnD.

Maybe Destination Heaven Chronicles, but it's the girl who cross dresses and it starts at a high school settings. She is aggressive though and was originally meant to be a

Kämpfer is a sword and sorcery high school with a agressive female and a genderbending boy
there is no crossdressing.

Ranma 1/2 this take place in the live of high schooler but it not a manga about high school it a martial arts and magic comedy of a stupid guy and a agressive but sweet girl.

I think Umi no Kishidan fits for the gender-bender sword one... The other ones has been mentioned
