When I'm looking for yaoi and I come across one, I read the description to see if it's good. If I like the review then I would read it but overall I prefer manga.

Actually currently I'm reading a novel called S. I'm loving it. Well I guess there's a good part and there's a down part for both manga and novels. I like novels cause there's more details and they're longer. But manga have illustrations.
In general I prefer manga cause of the illustrations. Even when I'm reading novels I imagine anime guys rather than real people in my head so yeah biggrin

Well, I would be fine with reading BL graphic novels just as much as I read BL manga but I don't happen to stumble upon the former that much - I have to agree with Berrie: if I happen to find one it's really by mere chance while searching for yaoi. That is probably the major reason. It's also a matter of accessibility though, at least for me. I find it way easier to find scanlated BL manga than translated graphic novels. I do read a lot though, even gay-themed novels that have nothing to do with anime/manga whatsoever, so yeah, I wouldn't mind reading a few more.

The last one I read was Only the Ring Finger Knows (Novel) and I'm currently following Nostalgia on 9th Avenue's translation of In the Box (novel)

I LOVE yaoi novels! So far I have read Sweet Admiration (This has been my favorite so far), Sleeping with Money, A Promise of Romance (Novel), Eternal Love and Don't Worry Mama (Novel). I bought (but haven't read yet) Body Language (Novel), Cold Sleep, The Lonely Egoist and Secret Moon (I am sure I will LOVE this one ^.^). I have also read the novels that go with Sekaiichi Hatsukoi - Chiaki and Yokozawa. Also, I have S on my computer to read as well. I really want to read Only the Ring Finger Knows (the novel) because I have heard it is way better than the manga! smile So yeah I LOVE yaoi novels.... it is my new thing since I have ran out of manga to read.... ^.^ However, I don't prefer one over the other because they both have their good points smile
