Just finished it. I liked preety much overall , but the ending really moved me (I give it a 8 with the ending excluded and 8.5 with it - liked it so much)
However I was wondering about something. The epilogue, does it go with the story or is it an extra or alternate ending of sorts. Because issue 33 ends with the end wirting on the final panel and it looked to me that they were really going for a grave visit, nothing hinted me that they would spend the day together amd then comes the epilogue which changes tha atmosphere somehow... I dont know. Any thoughts

BTW I still loved the ending both with and without the epilogue

You're talking about the chapter where they're visiting with all their friends who'd already died, right? As I recall, it was either mentioned or implied that they chose to settle on that particular planet because of some mystical "festival" that lets the dead come back for a day. Or something to that effect.

I loved the epi too. So sweet.

Oh, have you read Caravann Kidd, by the same author? Outlanders characters make lots of cameos. eyes

Hi. I also loved the ending, although
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
they should have made some closure to the character Jireh. She was originally a girl named Aki, but had been possessed by the spirits of the Yoma clan, in order to defeat the empire. But there should have been some parts where she confronts those spirits to show them the errors of their way, then she would finally truly control that power and use it to fight with the emperor, then go down with a bang! Sorry I got carried away, the story was really good.
