House is based on Sherlock Holmes especially over his deduction skill. This meant the show Elementary and the show Sherlock protagonists do share some of his characteristics.

If you talking about medical, there is an old manga (or a relatively new anime) Black Jack about a very weird doctor.

& definitely! Be weary though, age gap. Both are over 25yrs.

I think Mamoru (Until Death Do Us Part) counts. He even carries a cane.

Edit: also, Gosick is loosely based on Sherlock Holmes, but the girl is the detective character.
