Alright, let's see if anyone can find me a shounen with shoujo elements in it.

Now let me explain what I mean here:

-a main character that is female (there can be a main male too, but it's mostly shown from the female's point of view).

-The art style is shoujo-like or somewhat similar but not quite shoujo.

-There's barely any action/fights in the series (unlike most shounen that have some sort of action/fighting in them)

There can be fanservice and the like, but it has to apply to at least one of the above things.

There's only one series I can think of that's like that at the moment, which is Karin. Most other series like this I've found are usually seinen, but this is the only one I've found that's shounen with these elements in there.

If you've read Karin, you ought to know what I'm talking about.

jocke is right, it is easier to find a shoujish seinen than a shoujish shounen.

You might want to give this titles a try:

Yotsubato!
Azumanga Daioh
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou
xxxHolic This is basically a plain shoujo serialized in a seinen magazine.

The only title I can think of that portraits exactly what you are asking for is:

Zero no Tsukaima

But these shoujish shonen, as you already said, tend to be ecchi.

Zero no Tsukaima is about as close as it gets to what I was asking for.

As I said, I know there are quite a few shoujo-ish seinen, but I was wondering if there were any shoujo-ish shounen like Karin or Zero no Tsukaima.

I don't mind ecchi at all, but I dislike it when it's overdone. laugh

Yubisaki Milk Tea sounds interesting (I haven't read many gender-bending series before). I may go and read that. ^^

I'll be sure to look at the other series everyone else posted too. Some of these series I haven't heard of.

Ranma 1/2 , if you haven't happened to read that.

Female main character = 1/2 check.
Shounenish elements = check
Shoujo = definitely not.
Fighting = yes, though not the story focus.

Suzumiya Haruhi might be similar. Main character is a girl, and the plot is way tricked out bigrazz
Yubisaki is a lot of fun bigrazz
@Catz Gokusen is josei isnt it?

Bolt and Lantern
Hatsukoi Limited
Kanokon --> Is an gender-bender and ecchi though... -.-;;
Matsuri Special It's listed as a Shounen, though it feels more like a Shoujo. o.O Maybe wrong genre?
NekoTen
Stray Little Devil
Tokage

Maybe one of these?

That one has to be the most shoujo like shounen out there.

Hrm... Oh, I know!

Sakura No Ichiban! Is technically shounen, but it looks shojo, and the story line, to me at least, seems shojo-ish. There is a little bit of fighting, but not much so far. -Shrugs- With only a chapter or so out so far, its hard to tell.
