What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

Huge second for these two! And I really enjoyed the anime version of Level E, though I dropped the manga (the first and last arcs of the Level E anime are awesome).

Outlanders is a pretty good space opera with lots of aliens...

Is seriously good! Love it! Pity it's only a volume long but it ends wonderfully. So you can't go wrong if 3 people have recommended it! (I hope. o_o wink

Hotel - interesting

Kokodake no Himitsu - cute

Psycho Staff - awhile since i read this, so i can't remember, but i rated it highly so it must be good.

Samurai High School - the usual gender-bender

Trans Venus - very ecchi, but very funny too
