I'm a bit of a lurker (first post) so if you don't want to answer its all good.

anyways im looking for a romance with no real crisis. what i mean is that even though there is drama and/or a love triangle there is no large scale crisis, such as death, moving away or attack/rape. well i guess some of that is not really crisis. something like kimi ni todoke or Sukitte Ii na yo.

i know those two are a lot alike but that's just what i have read recently. it dont matter if it is school life or anything like that. i dont mind any genre Shounen to Shoujo Ai. am not a big fan of comedy in my romance (im a serious guy) but its not a big deal. lastly i would love one that is finished don't have to be but would be great.

thanks in advance.

If you don't mind more adult storied,Love Lucky is highly recommended.

Even though you say you don't like crisis, give Bitter Virgin a shot. It's very, very well done and very emotional in places. And it's only 4 volumes, so you don't have to waste a huge amount of time reading it if you don't like it.

Finally, pretty much anything based on Takemiya Yuyuko's novels are great. They are, in my order from favorite to least:

Evergreen
Watashitachi no Tamura-kun
Toradora!
Golden Time

^I can't believe you'd recommend that Bitter Virgin s***, lol... and Love Lucky may not have crisis but it's basically a repetitive variation on the one theme: coitus interruptus. Which is just irritating.

Here's some complete shoujo ai (yuri is really the correct term) for you TC:
Aqua Blue Cinema
Ebisu-san and Hotei-san
Girl Friends

Here's one of my favorite romance manga:
Dear Mine

-Superior (A little crisis but its fixed. Really good read)
-Usotsuki Lily (Really, really funny)
-Mixed Vegetables (Same author as above)
-Kare Kano (Yeah, there is a little crisis towards the end but its still a rather interesting read)

Dont know if you really mean "that" Evergreen or not, cause your Evergreen doesnt look like its without crisis (hentai, NTR, rape, etc)...
maybe you mean this Evergreen (KASUKABE Akira)

Slice-of-lifeish / old-school style romance manga may just be your thing.

If you can take unconventional art, try Kirai, Ashita no Ousama, and Mitsuru Adachi's Rough.

For breathtaking, detailed art, try Emma and Otoyomegatari.

I don't remember the level of comedy in these but I remember aww sweetness so probably Aishiteruze Baby, Yoroshiku Master and Good Morning Call too.

Certain scanlation groups/sites can also help you like dragonvoice, storm-in-heaven, janimes, aerandria, and wingtip cafe.

Nineteen, Twenty-One is really light-hearted and cute, more about cats than anything, really.
Strobe Edge probably fits... though I didn't like the beginning or ending, the middle picks up. I don't know about now, but I remember enjoying it when I read it.
Koko ni Iru yo! I can see why people would dislike and like this. People criticize the heroine as weak but I think that it is very sweet, and the manga has it's own charm (and flaws). It was so touching that at the beginning, but then again it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Hibi Chouchou is also another popular one. I think it's ok. It's a bit too quiet for me.

My Heart Is Beating is a personal favorite of mine OMFG YOU JUST HAVE TO READ IT. There's not much of a crisis like death and tragedy but more like slice of life and growing up. It's deeper than it looks, and in the end after finishing the whole series, I just kind of sat there in awe for a very long time
it's not popular or well known and I think it's such a shame because it is a masterpiece and so beautiful PLUS it's in color and everything from this artist/author is always good.

SORRY TO BOMBARD YOUR EYES WITH THIS ESSAY
(just please read My Heart is Beating lol)
