After watching all this Anime/ reading manga I'm kind of wondering what school is really like in japan.

That whole thing about High School Entrance Exams

The issue of class division (1-A, 2-B)

Teacher moving around (cause i for one, think its like having to pick from a pre-organized/ picked classes; freedom to pick your classes?! whats that?)

Moving away to go to high school?

Yeah i can't really come up with anything else, so please feel free to say what ever you want that i have left out.

well....I can't help you there. I'm only familiar with the School system in China. Although I imagine they shouldn't be too different.

Ok, in the U.S., you take the ACT or SAT right? Then you write an essay, do an interview, submit your transcript and recommendation. But in China, all you have to do is take an exam. That exam score determines where you will go in life. Pretty harsh isn't? That single exam has like math science history Chinese....etc etc. And that exam lasts 3 days. I pity those Chinese kids. And also, guess what, you apply to the college first then you receive your test score. Meaning you'll have to estimate how high you'll get on the exam. It sounds like a nightmare. Again, I pity those poor kids.

Also, if you look at how much work Chinese students have and how much pressure they are under, you'll know that those school manga are not entirely accurate. They don't have time to date at all.

Again, I hope the school system would be less harsh....
