I'm looking for manga, preferably shoujo, similar to Watashi ga Motete Dousu n da) which I like because i think it has a good and humorous set up and Yasashii Sekai no Tsukurikata which I just like as a whole (teacher v. student relationship not necessary). Any help would be great so I can finally diversify my manga list with more then the mountain of shounen that I have

Read Sailor Moon it is a classic in the genre or I feel that you should try, Ciel, Do you want more Ongoing or more Complete manga given to you?

Try out Ouran Koukou Host Bu. It is the first shoujo manga that I have ever read, and its downright hilarious.

I thought Nodame Cantabile's really funny. You should try it if you haven't read it yet.

It is hard to know what to suggest based on your examples, since there is so little of Watashi ga Motete Dousu n da, and Yasashii Sekai no Tsukurikata isn't shoujo, it's seinen.
I second Oresama Teacher and Ouran High School Host Club as good places to start. You might also try:
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
MATSUMOTO Tomo writes good stories. Start with Eikaiwa School Wars or Beauty is the Beast
Adarushan no Hanayome is very cute, no romance.
Dengeki Daisy is very popular.
Perfect Girl Evolution (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge or The Wallflower) is funny but gets repetitive.

Yeah, I realized that it wasnt shoujo after I posted this (the art style and romantic main plot made me think it was) But if you have anything like it I would appreciate it even if it isn't shoujo.
And right no I'm really enjoying Ouran High School Host club, and I'm kind of enjoying oresama teacher, though I'm a little on the fence about it and I'm really worried it is going to become very repetitive which kills romance centered manga for me
