I'm looking for a new manga to read, but there are just too many out there and I have no idea where to start.

Now, what I would like you to do is choose ONE manga that you would absolutely recommend. It can be your number one favorite manga, or one that you think is a otaku must-read, or one that you believe does not get the recognition that it deserves.

Just to serve as a guide, my all-time favorites include:
Kuroshitsuji
One Piece
Nurarihyon no Mago
Akagami no Shirayukihime
Faster Than A Kiss

Thanks in advance!

[Edit]
I've read several of the recommendations so far, and absolutely love Pandora Hearts and Horimiya! biggrin

i don't know what genre you prefer. for me, i prefer shounen-romance manga
this is what i suggest the most :
1. Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.
2. Gan-Kon
3. Musunde Hiraite (MINASE Mayu)

i hope you like what i suggest

This: Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan!!
Very realistic and deep. Makes me questioned about
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the legitimacy of death penalty and life in general

I have other favorites that are more enjoyable and fun but this is by far the thing that smacked me on the head. Really good!

It has already been mentioned, which makes me happy, but i will put it as my one an only recomendation:

Pandora Hearts, because i think it deserves more recognition (not that it has little, but definitley does not make it justice), and because personally i think its a destructively amazing manga.

I'm probably being biased here since I scanslate it and feel it doesn't get the love it really deserves.
But whatever I'm so in love with it!

My recommendation is a two-parter.

The Breaker and The Breaker: New Waves

If I can pick only one then definitely Kiss Wood
It has fresh story/characters (the main character is an old man lol That's something you don't see often in a manga), nice moral, low amount of cliche stuff, beautiful art and coloring (probably the best art that I have seen in a webcomic), it's very unpredictable, the atmosphere of this manga makes you think that you are reading a fairy tale and not a manga and I also think this is something that anybody, no matter what that person's manga taste is, can enjoy.

A real masterpiece IMO eyes
