Ok, only semi serious here, but I've been wanting to finish reading Area 88 for years.
I started reading it years ago and have been crazy frustrated that I never got to finish it. So, does anyone know how to entice, convince, or even bribe someone to do the job? How does one go about looking for someone to do a scanlation for pay anyway?
Thanks.

I believe you can ask hentai groups like SaHa to commission a translation/scanlation since I think many do accept them.

This one here. I have no idea if it's expensive or not. I have the same problem as you. I started reading JaJa Growing Up and no one translated past the 3rd volume =P

I'd be more interested in finding someone to upload the thing. I'm fairly certain I'd be able to set up a scan group if I could get the source material. Any sites to post requests like that?

You could also try buying books directly from Japan, it's only 400-500 yen.

yah, but I don't speak/read japanese. So I'd still need to get it scanlated.
I just thought I wouldn't be the only north american-er who'd love to get specific manga re-started so to speak. Thought there might be a board someplace for requests of that nature sort of thing. Oh well.

He was saying to buy the books and upload them, then you can start your own group.
