Well, I'm looking for a manga where best friends got together (and stay xD). They could be childhood friend, coworker, classmates, step-siblings, ...etc but they have to have reasonably strong relationship, ie. they have some level of mutual trust, understanding, communication. No yaoi, yuri or harem please

Some of my favorite best friend manga to give

(adult friends)
Bonnouji (slice-of-life-ish)

(high school friends)
Sket Dance (also a Tsukkomi/Comic gag Duo)
Horimiya (sweet and fluffy, low in drama)
Isshuukan Friends. (4koma of a girl with a memory impairment condition and her friend who crushed on her)
Yandere Kanojo (HijirixShiratori pairing)
Koe no Katachi (childhood bully becoming high school friend through character development)
Gin no Saji (slice of life in an agricultural school)

(childhood friends)
Fushigi no Maria-kun (imagine Twilight, where Bella is a badass, Edward and Jacob is the same person, vampires are protected species, also no sparkle - yeah this one has nothing in common with Twilight xD )
Takkoku!!! (most idiotic couple ever, but that's its charm)
Shingeki no Kyojin (the pairing is still up there, but there's a lot of possibility)
Last Game (has much better friendship than Special A, despite the similarity)
[m][Kekkaishi/m]
Kaitai Shinsho Ø (pretty much the same friendship vibe as Kekkaishi)
Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu (a tragic case with ambiguous ending - I think)
14-sai no Koi (smoothest transition ever)
Kimi to Kami Hikoki to. (fluff)
Tonari no Megane-Kun. (fluff)
Ties of Compassion (has really good friendship development, there's also a dramatic case of friends-to-enemies-to-something between a sociopath and a cynist)
Sakurasaku Shoukougun (recommended on this thread, thanks Shiratori smile )

(servant-master friend - pretty much the historal/fantasy version of childhood friend)
Joou no Hana (imo, a better version of Akatsuki no Yomo with a more badass female lead)
Akatsuki no Yona (a very rare reverse harem that doesn't piss me off, oddly enough, probably cos the childhood friend guy has so much lead -_- )

(survival friends)
7 Seeds (this one even has a pair of childhood friends <3 )
Jisatsutou (not exactly best friends, but they agreed to remain to friends until the girl is ready for intimacy, you can't ask for better friendship than this T.T )

Heck even story with forgotten/separated childhood friends are cool with me (as long as there's sufficient flashback xD )
Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou (I believe all childhood friends should be like the female lead bigrazz )
Nana to Kaoru (childhood friends transcending into BDSM relationship)
Seishun For-get! (they don't realise they're childhood friends until half of the story)
Deadman Wonderland (also fits into the survival friends)
Kimi no Tonari de Seishunchuu (this one get even cuter after they got together)

The couple doesn't necessarily have to get together in the manga (but fluffyfest , but there's enough hint and foreshadow and development that they will eventually do (like with Sket Dance)

Also I would really appreciate if you guys can recommend pairings of adult friends. They're so rare T.T (even "best friends with benefits" are ok, though they're more prevalent in romance novels :/ )

Up to date and loving it. They're not exactly best friends though. But thanks

Well that was one of the reason I even made this thread xD

I'm up to date with Akagami, but I'm losing interest cos of slow release sad
As or NG Life, W Juliet, I actually used to be wary of Gender Bender genre, so I never read them even though I know about them. But after Orange Chocolate, I might as well, starting with W Juliet! (since it's about drama and acting as well) biggrin
