Well I do not believe there's a most beautiful song of all time, nor I believe I have one and I've enjoyed tons of artists from 60's - Nowadays, specially Rock and Roll, Hard Rock, Metal and it's variations, etc. I'll put 5 songs I find truly beautiful, not only by lyrics but music talent and sound and of course, makes my heart shake and blood boil.

Definetly good and moving songs, there are sooooo many of songs I would add to this list but well, I've been listening to these ones right before this topic was created 🙂
Oh well, since we are in a manga/manhwa/etc site and into Asian Culture I recalled this song that makes my heart ache everytime I remember the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nK4tfrsuSr4
Dem Feels man/girl, I'm tellin' ya', DEM FEELZ!

Warn: Banned
First one that came to mind: Unforgotten from Halo 2.
The runner-up: The Boxer by Simon & Garfunkel.
After these two, I can't really decide.
EDIT: Scratch what I said earlier, nearly the whole soundtrack to Halo 2 is pure majesty.

Lol, I shouldn't have click on that link. Makes me remember the movie. The first I watched it, I was down the dumps and took all my strength to crawl out. Now I'm back down in the dumps again -_-
On a side note, "To build a home" by the Cinematic Orchestra I think is beautiful.

When I think about the word "beautiful" in this context, what comes to my mind is usually classical music - I like many non-classical songs but I wouldn't call them beautiful... with the exception of Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode 🙂

You fell right into the Feelz trap !!!
I'm not much of a classical music fan yet I find it deepely touching, specially when American TV Series use them. Have no idea who they are but when the Actor starts playing some "Mozart/Bach/Beethoven" tunes with the violin or piano, somehow my heart is squeezed.
