Well almost anything...

I'm going on vacation over winter break (Yay!), but it involves long car rides with limited internet access (boo). I want to download some manga to read since it doesn't drain my battery, but I don't know what to read!

I'm not in the mood to read any, one specific thing. However, I'll be riding in a car with my younger cousins, so please no ecchi, yaoi, yuri, or gore (they'll probably only give it a passing glance, so more mature themes on the other hand are fine I suppose). Shoujo or shounen ai is also okay, and I don't mind a little violence.

I don't know myself what I'm even looking for, so just recommend anything you thought was worth reading please. That being said (I feel like I'm contradicting myself), I enjoy romance (just as long as it's not a big, sticky mess of shoujo like Watashi ni xx Shinasai!).

Finally, and maybe most importantly, nothing too long please. I'd prefer something less than ten volumes.

Yotsuba&! - it's a long series, but it's episodic and you can stop whenever.

Hard to find a good manga you haven't read...

Hmmmm. I usually read shallow shoujo, so I'm not sure I have much to recommend. Also, it kind of sounds like you only want completed manga. I wish I could recommend 7seeds since it's my favourite manga, but it's really long and not complete yet ;_;

I second Emma. Also Shirley if you intend to read Emma.
