86 series, and it could increase... but I'm trying not to. I've still got to finish some complete series (like NausicaƤ, Lone Wolf and Cub, Hikaru no Go, etc.) I also need more space... a 80GB slave drive would do.

Quote from ZinnKid
I only have 8.09GB. Usually I'm rereading them and organizing and renaming them while I wait for the next release. (yes, I have OCD)
I use a freeware program to mass rename files. If you don't have one, go to http://www.fauland.com/ and it's the 5th program.
I'm reading at least 80 series at the moment. I'm caught up with the latest chapters in all of them, but scanlation seems to be stopped for some of them.
I have no idea how much my manga takes. I have 34 GB of it on my computer, but I know I've burned over 20 CDs. How much I'm not sure, because I leave them at home for my sister to read.

I'm reading around 40+ ongoing manga, when I finished downloding the newest chapter for these manga, I read it immideately. There are some titles that I wait until one saga is finished before reading them....like bleach and one piece.

...Too many Nah, I can never have too many! My reading list is pretty off though since I haven't really added much of the manga I read/own that aren't just scanlations.

I suppose technically 30 - 35 or so.
But most of these are paper manga that I am waiting for Volumes to come out, or the american companies have dropped or are on hiatus (ahem, ADV) (oh, and Bow Wow Wata). For Ex. Desert Coral, Blue Inferior, SkyBlade, More Starlight to your heart, others. Now that I think ADV has rearranged things at their company, I hope they continue some of their manga series.
So I'm not actively reading them all!
Scanlated ones ... My dial-up is so slow that I focus on only 1-3 series at a time. Currently I have read volume 1 of Bokko (not my genre, but it looks well-written and illustrated anyway), and have Volume one of Epotaransu Mai! to start.

Well I have 2 answers for this question
1) About all the manga on my reading list (just over 50 I think).
I should be reading these manga up to the latest release
2) About 9 manga where I still haven't caught up yet with the latest releases.
I read a few chapters of 'that', then a volume of 'this', then another one of 'that' again

I'm reading in this moment, around of fifteen mangas, the worst is the most of then come out every week, or like full metal alchemist come once every month, i'm reading right now: suzuka, pastel, to love ru, mahou sensei negima, gantz, full metal alchemist, elfen lied, ares, unbalancex2, yume de aetara, sakura daries, get backers, and many more, and many of then are completed but i don't got enough time to read all of then
it's depend on my mood, I read hajime no ippo from vol 1-70 simultaneously

I think I'm reading 5 series at the moment. I doubt I'll ever be reading much more than that at any given time. Besides the ones I've already started (and I'll likely drop one or two of them) I don't think I'm going to pick up any more ongoing series; I'll be limiting myself to completed series and I'll probably read them from start to finish and then move on.
Ongoing series just annoy the hell out of me because I'm not a fan of waiting. Some take quite a while for new chapters to come out and/or get scanlated and I just don't have it in me to keep caring about them for too long with no new material. I'll inevitably move on to something else.
Frankly I don't know how the hell some of you manage keeping up with 10+ different stories at the same time, (not to mention 100+ ) I couldn't do that if I wanted to. For one thing, I'm just not willing or able to devote that much time to it. You guys must live and breathe manga. Way outta my league here.
