Mind giving me suggestions?

I have three weddings I'm going to this year, one of which is one of my best guy friends, and another I'm a bridesmaid(I'm a friend of the bride), and the last one is a relatively new friend (the bride) who I want to leave a good impression on because she's really nice.

Needless to say, I need some good wedding gift ideas.

Something unique, maybe slightly practical, or maybe what you'd like to get.

And I can't spend over $100 for each of them. I don't have that kind of money. I might be willing to dish out for my guy friend, but not over $200 for him. I'm broke.

Nothing suggestive, or anything that could offend anyone please. I don't know who they're marrying very well(They all live far away), and I'd rather not risk it.

Ok, so my guy friend love video games(madden, 2k, Mario kart, nitro, smash bros, Arkham asylum, ect), super heroes, sports, pranks, sweet things, food in general, and anything "cool". He's not a nerd, so whatever would be cool by general standards. He has a good sense of humor, and loves competitions and sarcasm(The main reason we're friends right there).
I've only met his girlfriend once, but she stayed at my house for a week during that time. She doesn't like video games, and is a bit girly, but she likes everything else he likes)

The first girl is a combination of girly and tough. She likes everything with glitz, glam and sparkle. She love heels, nail polish and dresses (But I'd rather not buy something only she could use) She also likes video games(Like Portal), Chinese things, doing crazy things, and comedians. She probably likes modern type things.

The last girl is very quiet. Both her and her fiancee barely talk, and I don't know her extremely well (because of the no talking thing.) But she's very sweet. Her husband-to-be loves Star Trek, but she doesn't really care about Sci-Fi. She is watching Star Trek with him though. She likes more vintage things, like black and white movies and old novels. She's a hairdresser. And...well...I can't think of much more. I'd really like to give her something that she would just think "Cool!" since in order to get a reaction out of her it would have to wow her.

And, that's it. Please let me know your suggestions! Thanks in advance! (^_^)

are you good with your hands? you can make some jewelry that matches their taste, or their bride's taste.

@britnh3 That's an interesting idea for the first girl.

My guy friend REALLY dotes on his girlfriend tho. She's gotten like 3 of
every type of jewelry from him, and the second one rarely wears jewelry.

I'll keep it in mind for the first girl tho. Thanks for the suggestion!

It actually might be a good idea to make bottomless sandals for her(first girl) instead. She's having a beach themed wedding. ...but she hates feet, so maybe not...

Do any of them love cooking? I gave my dad an embroidered chef's hat that said 'cow's tremble.' I think it's cool but I also love jogging pants and shirts with cartoons on them.

I know you said that your friend isn't all that into sci-fi but maybe you could find a cool piece here.

It's a store that sells items from sets of tv shows, movies, etc. They have all sorts of clothing, shoes, hats, jewelry, etc.

My friend actually got a piece from Star Trek there

Hmmmm I was going to ask if any of them had a wedding registry, but I guess you're going more for something out of the box ...

For the 1st couple - maybe a cotton candy machine, or churro machine.
Or you can do something with glass candy. (meaning make it, and you can be creative.)
Which you could use glass candy for all three gifts. (Maybe as an extra for all 3)

2nd couple - errr at a lost, maybe a paid couple's spa gift voucher or gift basket.

3rd couple - Custom made trekkie gift? ... something maybe with both their names?
Live long and prosper?
the other thing I was thinking was making a movie projector ... but those can go more into the expensive side.

Are the couples living together now? Or going to be moving into a new place after the wedding?
If so I think the more practical gift would be something they can use at home. Which I would put all the things I need/want on a registry.

Sidenote-
biggrin *wave* InsanityProvider sorry I've been lazy lately, or reading manga.

Pretty nice wedding gift ideas! Thanks a lot for this interesting share. Today is my parent’s wedding anniversary and I sent them a beautiful basket of lily flowers. The Flowers Delivered Today were super chic and fresh. Even I revealed a gift coupon that helped me save a decent amount.

You can't go wrong with toiletries for newly weds (my opinion). Buy two towels (one for him, another for her-equality) and tie it up to look like a bear.
User Posted Image (It's a pinterest thing)

Then add customization stuff.
Like for the first couple a new video game with a card that says something along the lines of "Like in marriage, two can play this game. Congratulations!".
And the second girl.. maybe you can get her a ticket to an escape room (crazy thing)? For her and her husband?
And the last person... this is difficult. All I can think of is a lame movie ticket... Sorry...

Woah, just noticed it's been 3 years. Don't know if this still applies, but hope it helps.
