I'm looking for a manga/anime/drama in which

1. The female lead blackmails the male lead.

2. The female lead either the same age or younger than the male lead. Not really into the older dominatrix sort of thing.

3. The girl is perceptive and intelligent.

4. (Optional, but preferred) The male lead has a backbone… of sorts. As in, not a completely useless, pathetic male lead.

5. (Optional) The story is told from the female MC perspective.

In other words, I'd like a manga in which the female lead is not obviously more mature than the male lead, but succeeds in blackmailing him. (The idea comes to mind of a student blackmailing a teacher). The duration of the manga or blackmail doesn't matter too much, as long as the end of the blackmail does not occur by the MC's own idiocy.

Cruel/sadistic female leads are okay, but no yanderes please. I would like her to be as socially capable as possible.

No bloody/violent dramas please. Bloody/violent anime/manga are okay. No limit on rating. If you're recommending hentai/smut, there must be a plot involved.

If you can get past the borderline H, Velvet Kiss meets all your criteria, except for maybe #3.

EDIT: also Onani Master Kurosawa and Aku no Hana in the first half of the story.

They should really make a "dropped" list… either way, I've tried both Watashi ni XX Shinasai and Nozoki Anna. The former was downright annoying after about five or ten chapters… and I wouldn't really call her particularly intelligent---she's rather naive. I'm not the hugest fan of the harem scene (should have specified that, sorry), and the latter was therefore really not my sort of thing. I only read harem when I feel that the male lead is deserving of the attention he receives.

I have tried Velvet Kiss… she's definitely not particularly intelligent. Onani Master Kurosawa I've already read (sorry for not listing it on my public lists), and I liked that, to a degree. Aku no Hana… I tried it before and frankly, she's a yandere.

I should probably clarify: The rating is irrelevant. An example of a manga that fits my criteria (besides Onani Master Kurosawa) would be Mud.

Thanks for the input… I just started that. It still calls it a reading list though, which is rather unfortunate.
