Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Is the end near? The claymore plus awakened beings are taking down Priscilla together, and I feel like the series is coming towards its close. :-( your thoughts on it? The next arc (if there is any) could take us to the land of the dragon's descendants. I'd love to see how the remaining claymore handle them. The original monsters. But that's only if Yagi-sensei decides to take it in that direction.

What are your thoughts?

i thought about that too, since pretty much everyone who still matters is involved in the current battle it should be over soon and your suggestion seems the only way left for the story to go. however, i asked myself how you could motivate them going to the other continent.
i mean theres really no reason for them to fight the dragons. the way i understood it is that on the other continent its basically a battle between humans vs. humans, except one side has the dragons. how could you justify the claymores randomly supporting the side without the dragons, they have no connection to them, and in fact, that side would be the former organization, so if anything they should fight WITH the dragon side.

I think it would make a lot more sense to just end Claymore here. Ever since they've defeated the organization, it has gone downhill for me. Asspull after Asspull... Oh you overpowered me? (next chapter) Kidding you just activated my trapcard jpg. etc. It's not what it used to be...

I remember reading it from chapter 1-100, holy hell that was amazing, 10/10 for me - but then my guess is that author runned out of ideas. Dragons are nice and all, but like the Gentlemen above me said: "there is no connection". Thus it will most likely result in asspull - just to link them together, which btw will only serve to drop the quality of the series.

THE BEST thing here would be to Finish Claymore AND then write Claymore 2 with new heroes that are duking it out in the continent. We could even go along the lines and do something like this: (dragon side) "Dude an experiment done by the baddies turned wrong, and their creations destroyed their masters. Should be we recruit them?" I know it sounds bad, but that is just a theory than CAN be executed a lot better.

In short: End Claymore, Start a new Claymore explaining all the shibe of the continent wars. NOT before the author takes a good, long break to come up with some FRESH and DECENT ideas. I mean he has none atm... Seriously I might as well be reading Bleach at this point...(and I used to LOVE claymore)

It has been announced in the current (10/2014) issue of Jump SQ magazine that [b] - with coloured page at that (to celebrate the ending I guess).

Personally I'm glad. This manga has jumped a shark a long time ago (ever since the 7 year timeskip I would say). And the moment Miria was given a bigger role the story turned to shit which was especially visible when she was resurrected or when she fought Hysteri
