It needs to do justice to the manga. If we dont get the impression that the creators are total pervs, it hasnt done justice to it.

damn i come back home after like 2 weeks from a funeral and i find that they're making a sekirei anime along with a shinra dark anime. it almost cheers me up but nope im still sad.

sekirie will probebly turn out all right but im more worried about shinra.; the manga has potential and would make a great show but i want like 26 episode season not a 13 episode one. wish they waited atleast one more year before they made it

I think it will become shit, i read many mangas, but i never tried watching every anime of the mangas i read because it will be just shit, you wanna see boobs? where? this show will be just something like "boobs covered by your hand" or like in Air Gear - Anime, where everytime this crow covers the breast and thins like that

This anime is for perverts, if it turns out how I'll suspect it to be. Though I hope with all my heart that it surprises me. Actually, if they took (almost) all the fanservice away, it would be better than the manga. =D

And for the ones who want boobies, look at porn/hentai or something, you know. >.< Give me substance!! D:

This kind of fanservice in manga makes me sick. It doesn't contribute to the plot at all, and is just there to attract more (male) readers. ._.

Only reason I read Sekirei is because of the gorgeous art, and unique story. xD So I don't want them to ruin that said story, by overdoing it in the ecchi department. ._.

True, it does sometimes ruin the flow of things. Kind of a, "what? boobs? why are there boobs here? I don't want to be looking at boobs right now! wait, what was just happening?" I found the ecchi sections really annoying in Ubel Blatt, in particular.

Seikirei is an awesome ecchi Manga (meaning that for the genre it's a very good manga). But Anime versions of Mangas (not neccessiraly solely) with heavy ecchi tend to be dissappointing. Like Rosario+Vampire or Air Gear, where the seriousness is completly disregarded and cast away <.<".

And now count the few serious moments Sekirei has (because it's centres more on comedy and a bit on the upernatural/battle). I doubt it will be "awesome". Funny maybe, but not awesome/good.

Inukami and Zero no Tsukaima staff... both were more centred on comedy (and kept the fanservice nearly at the same level), and ignored some of the seriousness (compared to the light novels). But there is hope. Nanoha had good special effects, so maybe they focus a bit more on the battles, then the manga does XD". Although I'm having doubts about Takao Yoshioka...because ... Elfen Lied ^.^... Ikkitousen <.<" ...

Anyways the Manga Original will definately be better. That's the eternal rule of nearly every adapted Anime (especially those where the manga had ecchi/fanservice XD)

I hope the art stays as close to the manga as possible. I also hope the anime able to portraits to the cuteness the manga has. Sakurako sensei's art tends to have round face character with sometimes pouting lips. I think they are hilarious whenever I see they pout. Seriously I laugh when I come across those pages(maybe I'm just easily amuse). I hope this will be the same in the anime. I only worry about these two things.
