What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)

I'm looking for a manga or anime that i remember from a while ago. The plot was about a country girl coming to the city to attend a magic school/academy to be tutored by someone with a "magician's license" or something like that. It was set in modern times maybe slightly in the future but the focus was more on the slice of life aspect and not the fact that there was magic.

I remember that you find out part way through that the girl is terminally ill and she ends up dying near the end. There is a romance aspect with a male lead who plays a major part as well.


i really want to reread this but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Any help would be much appreciated.

I was thinking Someday`s Dreamers until you brought up terminal illness and dying... I don't remember that. Maybe you're thinking of the the spin-off. Apparently the girl in that one has a heart condition--I don't remember if I watched the whole thing or not.
