hi, i want the female lead to be normal/average/plain , as in she's not a pretty, popular girl that guys yearn for

i also don't want her to be obsessed with romance or finding a boyfriend or obsessing over a guy annoyingly ; no annoying female leads plz

i also don't want her to be super duper naive, innocent dumb girl like most shoujo portrays

no large age gaps plz! love interest must be around the same age

no yaoi/yuri/shounen ai/shoujo ai /plz

no incest plz (not even step-siblings)

one-shots are fine

thanks!

That is any normal shoujo manga except for the naive dumb part, you're on your own there but here's a few exceptions
Crush on you
Betrayal knows my name
Rec-kimi ga naita hi

Try -
Warau Kanoko-sama - Kanoko, the female lead, transfers schools often because of her fathers job. Due to this she believes in observing people of her own age rather than making friends with them, and chronicles the daily occurences in her diary. It also has a sequel, Koi Dano Ai Dano.

Annarasumanara - Yoon Ah-ee is tired and bored of her life which consists of trying to make ends meet for her sister and herself. All this changes when she meets a magician at an abandoned circus. Its a bit preachy towards the end, but worth it.

Ashita no Ou-sama - After seeing a play Yuu becomes enchanted with the world of stage. She is initially plain and seems boring, but her pursuit to make a name for herself in theater is entertaining, and you can see the evident transformation it brings about in her.

Cheese in the Trap - This is a webtoon and has a certain structure. The white parts represent the present, whereas the graying/black parts are memories of the past. The story consistently switches between the two and with each part you gain more knowledge about each character. That said, Hong Sul, the female lead, is very perceptive and her observations make up most of the story.

Dengeki Daisy - You may have already read this, but if not, then do. Teru Kobayashi is the sole surviving member of her family and exchanges messages with the mysterious Daisy, who can only be reached via her mobile. At the same time she befriends her school janitor, Kurosaki, who may know more about her brother's death.

Mars - This one's a classic. Kira is an artist and tries to maintain a low image. This means keeping away from the delinquet Rei too. However, after seeing one of her drawings Rei develops an interest in her. Summary might seem boring, but give it a try.

Midnight Secretary - Kaya is a baby faced secretary who works under the owner's son, Kyouhei Touma, and who is also a vampire. This is more of a guilty pleasure read.

Ouran High School Host Club - another popular manga which I am mostly recommending for its hilarity. Haruhi mistakenly enters the host club room where she breaks a vase worth 8 million yen. In order to repay for the vase she is forced to join the club, and then HILARITY ensues!

Manga most people like but I didn't:

Tomodachi no Hanashi - A story about two best friends- one's beautiful whereas the other is plain. Whenever the beautiful one is asked out, she agrees only if the guy puts her best friends before her.

Fukuyadou Honpo - About three sisters of Kyoto's oldest confectionary shop. Its an enjoyable read if you can overlook the art, which I couldn't.
