Hey guys smile

Ok ok first of all, I know I'm sending in a lot of requests lately but can't help it. Finally got some free time but nothing to read >.<

Now then, back to my request biggrin
So uhh I've read some action stories like Ajin or DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything these last two days, and I got really REALLY R-E-A-L-L-Y into them. The stories are captivating, addicting and fast paced. But...sadly they're both ongoing, leaving me here in suspence >.>
So today, I'm looking for some action series, preferably completed, with a male lead, that is addicting, fast paced and sucks me into the story (yes, I have no life...for now).
Also, i know a lot of you guys know good old manga, but i just can't get into them. Like, after reading the first 10 pages, I just give up and go look for more recent manga. So if there's anything with decent art, I'd very much appreciate it.
Another preference is that I like long manga. And I mean like at least 5 volumes. I'm a fast reader, so short manga just leave me wanting more. And as I also mentioned, I'd prefer it if it's completed.
Hmmm I think that's all the preferences for now. I'll edit more if I remember anything else XD

You guys can see what I'm reading and what I've read so far through the links, so that might help you recommend stuff easier ^.^

Oh and also, could you guys leave a very short text that why you recommend whatever it is that recommend? I know I'm already asking for too much, but that would really help me out choosing manga to read.

Thanks in advance everyone!!
You guys are awesome biggrin

EDIT: Oh oh oh, just remembered another thing, please avoid recommending one-shots, or episodic series bigrazz

you should definitely try these ones out biggrin
Shoukoku no Altair - this one has very very good art with an awesome main character(male) and has action with strategy, its not completed but does have 9 volumes translated and comes out about every month.

Witch Hunter -this one has more action then shoukoku no altiar, but not nearly as much strategy(not sure which one you prefer) and has some pretty good comedy in it too, MC is male and again art is really good.

Noragami -good art again with very likable characters, good action manga with just a hint of romance, and the current one i'm obsessing over hehe bigrazz , however this one only has 5 volumes currently translated, but the chapters are coming out about every 10 days lately

Akame ga Kiru! It's about some some dark kingdom where people are trying to revolt. There is fast paced action. All characters are fun.

Thank you all smile
So far I only got to read the stuff on the first recommendation but the rest look really promising. Will defenitely look through them.

Now review time biggrin
I started reading Shoukoku no Altair and I gotta say that it's good but it's too wordy. So I'm leaving it for later when I feel like reading wordy stuff.
I also read all the current chapters out for Noragami and boy it's good. I'm loving it. At first I thought it'd be like some episodic adventure manga but nope, it's far better. Can't wait for the new chapters to come out!

And as always, new recommendations are welcome ^.^

I won't say that you will get it into the story in the first 10 pages, but they're good story that got me suck into it.

Samurai Deeper Kyo
Akumetsu

another good thing is that they're complete! ^^

Fullmetal Alchemist just has an epic story, epic characters, fantastic.
Might also like...
Fairy Tail fun mix of characters
Shirogane no Karasu similar to Fairy Tail and Rave Master
666 Satan don't remember much about it... bigrazz but it was good.
Blazer Drive an interesting idea with the plot
En Passant short, but a unique male lead and fast-paced enough, I should say.
Noblesse couldn't get into it myself but many say it's great, somewhat slow though.
Deadman Wonderland is bloody, gory, violent... but if you're okay with that, it's a good length, fast-paced, breathless action, beautiful art, and more. Don't get too attached to anyone though, I warn you...

Edit:
Black Cat I almost finished it, will someday, nice action.
Immortal Rain one of my favorites, very shounen shoujo.
Tiji-kun!
Zippy Ziggy awesome characters, humor, and action
Beelzebub cute and funny with action.

Fairly tale, found it a bit childish bigrazz
Full metal alchemist is AWESOME!! Love it <3
Noblesse, another favorite of mine *cough* my signature *cough* biggrin
Deadman wonderland, awesome story awesome art awesome characters....what else is there that needs to be said
Black cat, again found it a bit childish

And that makes it all biggrin

Hm, well, how did you feel about Monster? If you liked it, I would recommend reading basically everything else Urasawa Naoki has ever written, since they're all fantastic. (I actually read all of 20th Century Boys in a single day because I just couldn't put it down. True story.)

And Vinland Saga has been slightly less action-y recently (it's also incomplete), but it's also a great read.

Also...
Alive - The Final Evolution
Bokurano
Gunslinger Girl
Hoshi no Samidare
Kekkaishi
Onepunch-Man (ongoing)
Shut Hell (ongoing)

I really liked the story line of Monster. Being honest, I watched the anime first and then read the manga but they're pretty much the exact same thing since the anime didn't leave anything out. The only bad thing about it is that it's so slow. I can't even call them fillers since they all relate to the main plot, but it's so slow that it was frustrating. I was thinking of marathoning it but I just couldn't so I had to split it and watch them weekly or something.
Is 20th Century Boys like that too? One of my friends is like killing me to read it, he's like it's even better than Monster. bigrazz

As for the other suggestions, I've started reading Alive - The Final Evolution and so far it's amazing!
Will look through the rest of them too. Thanks a lot biggrin

I think 20th Century Boys is slightly more fast-paced (especially around the middle portions) than Monster is, and it's wayyyy more of a mindtrip. In the end, it really ultimately depends on taste which one you like better, since I actually like Monster more, though that might be because I read 20th Century Boys in a haze of "I need to know what happens next" suspense, and everything was so trippy that it kind of just blended together for me in the end, ha.

Though if you want something completely crazy that will keep you on the edge of your seat every chapter, Urasawa's Billy Bat is it. But it's still ongoing right now, and the cliffhangers are awful.

Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl should be right up your alley.
