What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')

Hi wisepop,

yes, Zippy Ziggy fits my current taste but I already read it and I wouldnt read it again. Too much misunderstanding, crossdressing etc.
Nevertheless I liked it and would rate 7/10 .

Maybe something else? smile

If you haven't read Change Guy, you really should. The protagonists switched bodies so a nerdy kid ended up in the local jjang's body. He gets stronger as the story progresses until no one can beat him. Not strong from the start, but definitely a good read. biggrin
