I started off reading action manga as a fresh middle schooler a few years ago. Somewhere along the way I started reading a lot of romance, and now I'm sort of into the slice of life genre mangas.

Can you list your favorite manga(s) under the slice of life genre? Romance along with it is completely fine, but I hate mecha, historical, supernatural, fantasy, action, yaoi (definitely), horror, and tragedy along with slice of life genres.

Any type of art is fine, and it might be even better if the art is usually regarded as "weird" or "sketchy" - I completely accept and like art styles such as that of Ono Natsume's (Ometura, Moyashi Fuufu etc.) and others.

Personally, some of my favorite slice of lifes have been Honey and Clover, And (Okazaki Mari), Hourou Musuko and Men's Kou.

Thanks! smile

Some from my list, most of them are the "cute girls doing cute things" type.

A-Channel
Acchi Kocchi
Aiura
Azumanga Daioh
Binbou Shimai Monogatari
Corseltel no Ryuujutsushi
Flying Witch
GA - Geijutsuka Art Design Class
Hyakko
Kamichu!
K-ON!
Kyoukai Senjou no Limbo
Lucky Star
Morita-san wa Mukuchi
Non Non Biyori
Nukoduke!
Shoulder-a-Coffin, Kuro
Sketchbook
Sora no Shita Yane no Naka
Strawberry Marshmallow
Sunshine Sketch
Sweet Magic Syndrome
Touhou Project dj - Suwakoto!
Working!!
Yotsubato!
Yuyushiki

My favourites among those probably is Shoulder a Coffin, Kuro, because of the dark fairytale atmosphere.
A-Channel, Lucky Star, and Yuyushiki are probably my favourites in the "cute girls doing cute things" area.
Sketchbook and GA are very fun and relaxed comedies, very high up among my favourites too.
And Nukoduke and Corseltel are just incredibly cute.

my current favorite slice of life is Ties of Compassion, its mostly a comedy but there is very little subtle romance

another really good one is Tonari no Seki-kun, this one is episodic and focuses completely on comedy

Story of Someone We Know and I second Yotsubato!.

I'm sorry I only have one new recommendation, but I haven't read much slice of life manga/manhwa.
