I may have asked this question before but I don't think I got QUITE what I was looking for. I'm looking for an Adventure Romance. I want a male and female lead, both strong, both falling in love with each other on the course of their journey (they can already be a couple at the start as well), both supporting each other throughout the course of the series, by both physical and emotional means, (for example they can kick as when fighting in battle, especially together). I would prefer if the manga had a more fantasy like element to it, rather than a sci-fi, but I am not excluding sci-fi as long as I like the main couple in question. Please NO Tsunderes. I HATE tsunderes, more on females than males. And I would prefer no cliché love triangle either, but as long as it is VERY clear who is to be choosen between two potential partners, that is fine. Like in Alice Academy when mikan OBVIOUSLY is going to choose natsume, and sana choosing Akito of Naozumi.

I'd recommend Legend of Maian.. it really fits your criteria but uhm it's on hiatus.. but whatever is available to read will still be worth it

Have you read Immortal Rain by OZAKI Kaoru yet?
A young female assassin sets out to kill the immortal bounty Rain but somehow they end up travelling together in order to unravel the mystery behind his immortality. While fleeing from/ fighting his pursuers, they end up falling in love with each other.
Starts off deceptively light-hearted but turns pretty dramatic later on. Don't forget to read its excellent prequel Touhou Shinigami: Meteor Methuselah Gaiden.

If you're more interested in the series' road-trip character and less in the fighting aspect, check out Ookami to Koushinryou by HASEKURA Isuna/ AYAKURA Juu and KOUME Keito.
It deals with medieval economics instead of fighting, but the story is incredibly entertaining, nonetheless, thanks to the author's world-building skills and the main couple's witty banter and flirting.
There's also an anime adaption and, seriously, it's one of the best romance anime I've seen.

I have already heard of immortal rain and spice and wolf. Both were great, but I don't particularly like the art of Superior though. And art is a must for me personally.

Please try Psyren.. the female lead has a bit of Tsundere element but it is reasonable considering the plot.. so give it a try.

You could also try Shin Angyo Onshi..but the romance is too subtle :3

Then there is Eden no Ori.. its worth a try too.

Aaand.. if you can read novels.. try Madan no Ou to Senki

The Sacred Blacksmith might fit it right o,o
