I dont want to pick it up until it's complete.

Do you guys have a sense of when things'll be wrapped up? Or will this be never ending until it stops being popular. If you think it could go on for another couple of years, let me know that too. Cheers~!

Just start reading it now. The story is well tough out throughout and Yagi nailed the ending of his last manga so i have no doubts that he will end this series in the next 2 years on a high note. The only downside is that manga drags a bit just before Vol. 20 or so.
Just battle after battle BUT the story did return and a lot of important plot threads got resolved in the last 2 years. Overall a 8,5/10 as of now and a big recommendation.
Angel Densetsu is a 10 by the way.

Thanks for the replies, folks.

residentgrigo, the thing is, I actually had been reading it a good while ago, but the wait in between releases is rarely workable for me (with any title). It's not even that I get distracted by other things or forget the story - and this is totes autistic of me, I know - I just lose touch with the atmosphere. I have to constantly re-read chapters to get into that moment again and soak it all up.

That whole process of going over it again is tiring and unnerving and frustrating and ruins the experience quite a bit for me. It feels like a chore so I end up putting new releases on the long finger until eventually I dont bother any more. (hello, Beserk and countless other manga..)

I've read Densetsu, and it is excellent smile Was interesting seeing his art progress, too.

Patience is a virtue. Now a serious answer. I read weekly manga/comics but monthly or least every 14 days is the way to go. True art needs it´s time and weekly releases without breaks lead to downgrades in overall quality. The long wait between Berserk chapters makes every singe episode count. But every time i read Naruto i feel that i could skip 2 chapters and wouldn´t miss anything. I actually started to really love Hunter X Hunter after the breaks started. The writing became more some sophisticated but the art (became a problem). The same thing goes for Vagabond or the yearly REAL. Claymore´s release schedule is just right in my eyes. The only works of fiction i had a problem remembering are things i didn´t really enjoy like Gundam Unicorn. I had to read the wikia summary twice and i watched every single UC century anime/ova. Even the horrible ZZ.

I haven't read claymore for a while, I'm also one of the reread the whole series just to get into the atmosphere of the latest chapters, so I stockpile a number of volumes before getting into it again, but I do remember the author saying he was more than halfway through the series and he had already planned out the ending, and I read that about a year ago, so I think you can rest assured that it should be concluded within the next 1-2 years, at most. Won't have to wait that much longer!

Actually, I am pretty sure that he announced the final chapter for this October in the last issue already. smile
