Well, here it's ~2k and we consider each other neighbours if we live within 5km of each other.. so it's fairly rural I love it here, nice and quiet and plenty of space to have fun without anyone bothering you.

I was born in Saskatoon (pop. ~250,000), which is the largest city in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Now I move around a lot; I prefer smaller towns in prettier places. Saskatoon's size is good for a city though - you get all the services of a larger city (though in terms of cultural events, etc. it's somewhat lacking) but without smog or insane traffic and such.
