well since my last looking for topic (HERE) is pretty much a dud, i decited to change up what im looking for.

this time, im looking for manga about bands, i want the mc to be male, and i'd prefer it if the manga focuses on the story from only 1 of the band members perspective. also, i'd also like it if the mc doesnt really think they fit into that world, but have the talent or tenacity to make it happen

some examples
Beck
Fuuka - this 1 isnt the best example, since its a SEO Kouji manga, and he knows pretty much nothing of music

Wants:
School life this is prefered, but not absolutely nessecary (high school - university)
Male Lead - female lead is ok, only if the story is really good
Romance - doesnt need to be fast. can be slow or even sub-plot
Light Comedy - not gag manga, but also not super serious
PLOT!!! - a story of any type is never really good if there is no plot
complete/actively scanlated - no point reading something if you can't finish it

Dont want:
4-Koma - really don't like reading 4-koma's, they just really frustrate me (so no K-On!)
Fluffy - hard to explain, but i dont want it to be all flowers and girly squeals and idiot protagonists that are all "oh they smiled at me... I LOVE YOU!"
Ecchi - some ecchi is fine as long as its not over the top, sick of manga with panty shots and boob shots in every pannel
Gag
Oneshots - absolutely hate oneshots, especially the ones that leave you wanting more
Dark/Depressing
Psychological/Mind F_ck
Yaoi
Yuri
Josei - i don't mind romance but Josei is a little to much for my tastes
Shounen Ai
Shoujo Ai
Rape
Hentai/Borderline H
Doujin
Smut
Gender Bender - this is ok ONLY if its girl dressed as guy
Gore - a little is fine but i don't want it to be like Gantz where its all detailed out, blood spurts and decapitation i can handle, but i don't need to see the details of brain matter splattering the floor

Might want to check out the Scott Pilgrim comics/movie.
Otherwise, the only thing coming to mind is the VN Deardrops. I never got far into it, but it wasn't a bad band story.

I feel like I should know at least ten other stories that are all amazing masterpieces, but sadly nothing is coming to mind.

Just a suggestion, you may get better results if you call your topic something like "Male MC in a band, his perspective" instead of "looking for"

thanks, but looking at the page, it hasn't even started being scanlated, also, that may be true, but in the end its still the same thing, but if i use that as a title, then i would end up being less descriptive in the actual post, and i already suck at describing stuff, so yeah
