So I've picked up on two Genres I really like recently. I Only have 2 Stipulations on suggestion. 1), Manga/Manhwa/Web or Anime only please. While I know there are some great novels out there, I just can't get into them. Manga based off of Light Novels are fine (Example; Re-Monster), just no Light Novels themselves 2). Suggest something of a decent length. I Hate series that END in only 6-12 Chapters, and things like that. They always end up with me wanting more, and nothings there. Now, if it has, say, 25 chapters, but each of those Chapters are 40+ pages long, then something like that is fine. I just want something that I won't be and to read everything in 1-2 hours Manga that have only a few Chapters, but have the POTENTIAL to go on longer, are fine as well (Example; Re-Monster). As for the Genres themselves, since I really don't know what the proper name of these Genres are, I'll just refer to them by their general Theme. The Common thread through BOTH of these Genres is not that they are combat manga (though they tend to have a bit), but that Its about Human adaptation; learning and adapting to a new environment, a new culture and new problems.

1). First is the "Game/Gamer/Game Reality" Type Genre. While its always been there, with the earliest ones I know if being the .hack// series, This one seems to have been gaining in popularity in the past year, and some real gems are starting to pop up.
This one can actually fall under two groups. First is the "Game/Gamer" style. This is manga like 1/2 Prince, .hack//, or Yureka. The premise behind this style is the Characters are players of some Game, and the story revolves around those events. The Second style is the "Game Reality" style. This manga is like World Customize Creator, The Gamer, Re-Monster, or Combat Continent, Where the Characters are dragged into a World, that while not a game, has different Aspects of a game, such as Levels, skills, or even menus, or the World/Character changes fundamentally to become LIKE a game. There are also combinations of these two style, such as Log Horizon, or SAO, where reality BECOMES the game.
------- Manga NOT to suggest (already read or did not like)
ALL .hack// stuff
TATE NO YUUSHA NO NARIAGARI
DUNGEON NI DEAI O MOTOMERU NO WA MACHIGATTE IRU DAROU KA
Tsuyokute New Saga (Kinda-Kinda??)
Log Horizon
Combat Continent
Sword Art Online
Yureka
WORLD CUSTOMIZE CREATOR
TOARU OSSAN NO VRMMO KATSUDOUKI
The Gamer

2). The Second type I am looking for, I can only describe as "Cross Dimensional/World Cultural Exchange". This genre is not the simple "guy/gal falls into alternate world" type story. But rather, Another World/Dimension exists, and the World knows about it. Maybe a Gate has opened up in a major city, and people are establishing Trade routes, or a Team/Base/Organization, gets trapped ON a another World, thrown into the middle of a conflict (in this style, "our" world may not know about the other one, but the other world realize that the new guys are someone difference, through a difference of policy or technology and the like, etc etc).
This Genera was actually alot harder to find, though I know they are out there. Manga in this genra are things like Gate - Thus the JSDF Fought There!, and to a lesser extent, things like Zipang and Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou.
------- Manga NOT to suggest (already read or did not like)
Zipang
Gate - Thus the JSDF Fought There!
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

Most of the things I thought would be relevant are based off of Light Novels, but don't have many chapters out, but they were made into an anime. I'm not too sure how long you want the anime to be, so...

"Game" Genre:

Mondaijitachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? (10 episodes)
No Game No Life (12 episodes)

For the two animes above, the worlds the protagonists are transported to are worlds where everything it decided by games. So, while the world or character isn't necessarily a game, they are influenced by the games that they play.

Accel World (24 episodes)

There aren't many chapters out for Accel World, but the anime is completed. The characters participate in a virtual reality game, like SAO.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (13 episodes)

This series is also based off of a LN (sorry >.<), but have several chapters already scanlated and the anime is already finished. It has game like factors which are based off of the student's test scores.

"Cross Dimensional/ World Cultural Exchange" Genre:

Outbreak Company (Outbreak Company - Moeru Shinryakusha) (12 episodes)

In Outbreak Company, the protagonist has to go to another world in order to spread the "moe" or manga and anime. I found this series pretty enjoyable and had plenty of references!

Hataraku Maou-sama! (13 episodes)

Unfortunately,Hataraku Maou-sama! was not made into a manga, but the anime series has been completed. In this anime, the Demon King gets transported to Japan and gets a part-time job (the way I describe it is boring, but the series is pretty funny!).

Sorry that all of my suggestions are animes!! The only things that I found to be related are based off of light novels and are not completely scanlated >_< I'm not even sure if these all have the "human adaptation" factor that you wanted to see. I bolded the ones that have this factor. I hope this helped xD

Thanks for the Recommendations. And don't worry about it, I should have been more clear. Manga BASED OFF Light Novels are fine, I was speaking of the Light Novels themselves.

Anyone Know of any more?

EDIT: Nor do they Have to be comepelety Scanulated, I'd just rather See something Thats not going to End in 8-12 Chapters, if you know what I mean. If you know of something that has only a few chapters OUT, but the potential to go on for a While, then Feel free to suggest those as well.

A Good example of this, is Re-Monster. It's only got 5 Chapters out, as of this posting, but the Light Novel is far ahead of the manga, and still going Strong, so its at least got the POTENTIAL to be a long manga.

Sorry if I was not as clear on this in the OP.

you said only manga or manhwa, but are webtoons alright? if so i have a few suggestions, if not you can ignore this post.

The Gamer -im really suprised that no one has recommended this one yet because of how popular it has been lately. but basically he is a normal person that all the sudden gets the ability that game characters do.

DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything -this one i not as apparent as the gamer but still has a game like system to it. the characters get challenges and if they complete those challenges then they get dice that can change something about them (example: make themselves stronger, etc). this one is a lot more psychological then the gamer too.

Ya Webtoons are fine, guess I figured that would fall under the Manga umbrella term, but oh well. As for why no one suggested the Gamer, I think its because I've already mentioned it. Though It looks like I forgot to add it to the actual List (fixed).
Thanks for the other suggestion though.

For the first one - Btooom! Instead of going to a "game world," the game is recreated with the players forced to play-or-die kind of manga.
And I'll second No Game No Life, it's based off a light novel but there aren't too many manga chapters out yet. You're better off watching the anime as Muses said.
