All,

The recent downtime was (is still) being caused by our host. It turns out that one of our IP addresses in our virtual network has stopped responding to requests on ports 80 or 443.

I've moved mangaupdates.com to a different IP and updated DNS, but it will take up to a day for the DNS updates to traverse the globe and become effective for everyone.

Sorry for the trouble. We're sending in a support ticket, so maybe they can help us figure out what's wrong.

wow this made me worry a lot. MU is way too important for the community, so i was almost sure they've attacked you with DCMA & co. to land a major blow on scanlation. Please consider preparing a full database dump for a possible worst case like MU forced to shut down somewhere in the future.
