Right now, I feel like a prophet that know one took seriously.
Right now, NaruSaku fans are dumbfounded and can't understand why reality doesn't make sense. LOL

But here's the thing, the ending feels so rushed. There are so little interactions between Naruto and Hinata leading up to this point that I feel cheated. I want to see more of Hinata and see her and Naruto grow together. I wanted to see their relationship blossom, and see how Naruto's feelings gradually begin to change. I saw none of that. And that's part of what makes chapter 700 so hard to swallow. A 110 minute movie isn't even really enough to show that. And even though they have kids, they don't even interact at all in the chapter. Sasuke and Sakura? No interactions there either. In fact, none of Team 7 even spoke to one another during 700.

Second, what is up with all the pairings? Yes, I understand it's a time skip and that characters can fall in love with each other, but there are absolutely no hints that lead to some of the pairings. Karui and Choji? Where did that come from. Kishimoto could have devoted his pages to other aspects, but instead we got this.

Speaking of kids, the situation with Bolt just makes me sad. Naruto's childhood should be the exact reason why Bolt shouldn't turn out the way he did. After all, wasn't it Naruto who started out as a prankster in order to gain everyone's attention. The fact that his own son feels the need to do the same thing to get his own father's attention sort of defeats all the development that has been happening in the story up to now doesn't it? It would have been more in character even, if Naruto were to chuckle at his son's handiwork and maybe be even a bit proud. After all, he was once at there too. But instead, he essentially tells Bolt to get used to it. Bolt even asks Naruto to help him clean the stone faces, and the look he makes during that panel just absolutely breaks my heart.

Naruto was supposed to be the one who broke the cycle, and achieve what his predecessors weren't able to do, but the ending doesn't give us that feeling. We're left right back at the beginning with Bolt, who in my opinion is Naruto 2.0. Everything just feels so hollow, even Naruto becoming hokage didn't seem that much of a victory to me. The chapter where Naruto is welcomed back to the Leaf after defeating Pein? That chapter made my heart swell. That was the feeling I wanted from the ending, and frankly I didn't get it.

And as a note, I know many people who ship Naruhina who also feel cheated as a result of this ending.

That sums it up pretty nicely, also how they we don't get to know what happened to certain characters such as Orochimaru, Anko and the whole build up with Karin as a person with the Uzumaki bloodline, they just got...scrapped which kinda pissed me off as much as the last fight pissed me off.

It was kind of you to remember me as I had completely forgotten you.

The ending's fine. It's safe, predictable and mediocre. A bit like the new Star Wars title. It's not godawful. It doesn't confuse the living daylights out of you. It nicely wraps up what's been a very enjoyable series for me. I'll take it.

But yeah, I tend to remember the sore losers who couldn't handle the reality of what was so damn obvious that a baby monkey could even see how it would end.

The ending for this chapter completes me.
I finally feel like I have closed a perfect chapter of my life.
What is this feeling of bliss called? Gloriousness? Serenity? Happiness? Relief?
Whatever this feeling is, I'm glad I was able to experience the ride of reading each chapter, week after week, and get the ending I deeply wanted. Cheers for Naruto the Hokage!



Sure, they may feel cheated, but not nearly as much as you think.
Also, Kishimoto is not purely interested in making a romance oriented story. He only adds that element to give it a certain closure. It is up to us as fans to fill in the blanks.

Because after 700 chapters, it is quite possible for any devoted fan on how such romantic occurrences could have happened, even though such debates could be left for open discussion since they would be nothing but opinions until such attributes are pointed out in the future Part 3 series of Naruto that will begin this spring.

You know we just waited for some chapters with talknojudsu and heavy flashbacks so last chapter was shotgun ending you know what, for example What happened to orochimaru and rest of them? They just fucked up some chapters and gone !? ORLY?

I saw a lot of heated posts before me haha but I have to say I also did thought the ending was rush (not 699, I mean that chapter was pretty awesome in my opinion) but yeah in 700, I wish kishimoto- sensei had given us a bit more interaction of how it led up to the pairings.

Throughout the manga/anime/ova/movie there were small very subtle snippets/preview of the resulting pairing but if there was a little more, it would have been better. NaruxHina children are so adorable! But my sis said it would have been better if it was naruxsaku since sakura resemble so much like his mother, what do you guys think?

It's so weird, now that naruto has ended it was a pretty good run!

I can't believe that even Rock Lee got married but Ten-Ten ended up a spinster all alone in her weapon shop.

700 is in my eyes only a teaser. Just a nice highlight real with little character interaction. Lets hit all the demographics in 2015 ! Orochimaru and Sasuke will get get a spinoff in JSQ or something. The kids will get their own 4-koma thing in Jump for KidZ(but now in near present day because laptops and all). Kakashi is getting a book deal already . Hinata could get some josei slice of life thing with cooking receipts. The internet loves her after all. Then they meet One Piece and Goku. Maybe even the Titans ? Don´t they all ?
I am even so cynical that i can see a jump universe thing in about 5 years time as an ongoing. If the new doesn´t hit, then the orange(get it ?) will becomes the new Yen. Who wants Mario 2 anyway ? The end is a bit incomplete(Kishimoto you sly devil you just don´t want to have your honeymoon) so even i will try some of these. Let´s see for how long.
I really like Naruto by the way but 72 Volumes are not cool. The later Pain stuff is where the manga took a hit and it is no HxH and Kenshin. But i "outgrew" endless and plotless shonen action(and nonsense echi when everything fails and the low hanging fruit called titZ is needed) and usually clean my lists of stuff i couldn't care less. Ninja man thou survived where Magi, Fairy Tail, Negi, Bleach and so on couldn´t. I would cite the very likable characters, the way too good for weekly art and the occasional highlights like Kakashis well used past as strong points. The japanese nonsense mythology later on and horrible Final Fantasy X like reasons(great game but the "i hate suffering so EVERYONE needs to die" motivation is just horrid) for the all the villain post Orochimaru were NOT cool. The Itachi as a good guy revelations nearly destroyed him and Sasuke as characters. Yes i liked Sasuke till then and his ending is satisfying but he went through 30 Volumes of directionless mess to get there. The endless zombie fights so we could recycle nostalgia for 5+ Volumes was forced too. Sakura being a housewife at the end and not a doctor is not nice at all by the way. She may be useless but at least she stuck to her convictions(her LOYALTY over 9000) and got her "man". I bet he thought of female Naruto when he got her pregnant . Where did this leak come from ? The issues is still not out in japan right ?

My final thoughts are: Ten-Ten(over the magical 27 so you are right yuri999) has no parents so what did you expect ? Lee probably "adopted" again.
Choji chose well. I am biracial so i always approve and even look like his 30 year old self but with even more hair and beard .
Shikamaru probably slept through his wedding night.
Sei makes sense from Inos side but he probably misspoke again and was just dragged along and then had to make it "right". Why is his kid albino. His skin is only because of long stays underground right ? Akumas girl was expected and cool.
Gaara joined the Ninja-SS with his looks. I repeat Kibas catgirl is a real character !
She was even in a game. Naruto´s wikia has more information then the bible .
Some characters aged in reverse and some look like they haven´t slept in 20 years. The art itself was good and the direction of the panels was thoughtful but Kishimoto does not know how to proportion fat people. 699 is a 9,5/10. 700 is a 7,5/10.
Cool endings but Neo Boruto(can he at least start shaving before we start shipping ?) the third will fill the gaps. I stayed up late for 2 days to drink the forum tears on Naruto forums and so on. Then i slept way too fine. After all MY dreams came true.
Too bad that she won´t lose an eye in the movie as some expected but she deserves happiness after 17 years of hell.
First Cloud X Tifa canon(they even had sex in the game so that was easy), then Naruto X Hinata canon(the moment her bro dropped sealed the deal for me and she even went through all the childhood romance steps and red scarves mean love). I just noticed many parallels with FFVII. I may have sadly found my waify type' . I call her gentle fist with breasts full of sorrow. Maybe a third ship in a few years ? RE´s Jill and Chris sound good. I also noticed that Naruto is Kushina and Hinata(as rarely as she shows up) is Minato from a characterisation standpoint.
I haven´t watch the anime(the animation from Shippuden forwards is ballZ) outside of youtube highlight but i will see 698-700 with a fine wine in hand. It will be like watching my gaijin youth ride into the sunset. How many words did i just write ? You have to forgive me. More then a decade of reading will do strange thing to you. The ending to Bersek in 10+ years will inspire my first online novel.

15 Years and finally we get to the end. Glad it's over as it was prolonged for far too long. The ending was so and so but at least it was over.

Chapter 700 was nice and had a good feel. I thought the art was good and glad too see Hinata, after having unrequited love for so long, is happy with two rugrats.

That ain't going to happen. The author most likely will drop dead before hand. I stopped around volume 35-36 and glad.

The parings (besides sakura and sasuke) were okay its just that we need a little more foreboding of it especially the choji one (but in glad is still finally got a girl lol). But yea ending wise it was just ok as you said, cause they just summed up everything real fast instead of trying to tie all lose ends and i didnt think they would leave neji dead.

It's far from over there will be follow ups and spinoffs coming up very soon and for quite some time in the future. I'd say at least 2-3 more years with the first range of spinoffs.

He took us as idiot, I remember celebrating the broadcasting Shippuden anime in Embassy of Japan in Tehran, I kinda got depressed because Kishimoto ruined the story and I said point of my view to ambassador and he said this is BUSINESS.
When characters grow up this manga should change the plot to target seinen , People around my age looks so stupid by reading this manga. (Sorry if this offend you guys)

You already know that what I gonna say about Sakura. Her character turn to naive and stupid girl but In the mind of Japanese men is Idol woman (That doesn't need to apply to everyone, we are different dont we ?). In this manga I can clearly see that even modernism can't change the old fashion culture, we even have this kind of life in eastern countries.
I blame everything on Kishimoto for bad leading. in the end he didn't wanted to show that side of war, people seek revenge, people won't forget who killed their families.


Its business, Naruto series are dairy cows so wait for movies with stupid scenario and new plot over on their children
