Hello!

I'm looking for a manga with a slightly airheaded but an intelligent main character. Preferably not a wimpy I-can't-do-anything-by-myself kind of a crybaby with no backbone, please. (I'm so done with protagonists like that... -_- )

A character who is only pretending to be a little dumb can suffice too.

Someone like Urahara Kisuke from Bleach would be a great example, and the same goes for Rain from Meteor Methuselah. Those two are about the only ones I can think of.

So as long as the lead character isn't completely miserable like, let's say, Canada from Hetalia, (Don't get me wrong, I still like him!) all is good.

No hentai, yaoi, or anything too tragic. I'd prefer a complete series, but that's not an issue if the manga get's regular updates.

That said, I'm open to some recommendations from you guys!

Edit: Yeah, and Abel from Trinity Blood, he fits perfectly.

Abel from Trinity Blood I think fits what you're looking for.
He seems like a bumbling idiot, but that's just a front, he's actually smart and strong.

Do they have to be intelligent? Or is being skillful at something enough?
