Hi, i'm new here and I'm hoping somebody can please help me. I've been spending years now looking for a particular manga I once saw around 2007 sold at a local Borders store that's no longer there.

It was considered a school romance title, and I do remember the title having very colorful, almost balloonish letters. There was an illustration either on the back of the book or on the first page (can't remember, might be both) showing a picture of a schoolgirl sitting while looking at her cell phone.

The opening pages of the first volume showed her walking past an airport while typing into her cell phone. She was thinking to herself something along the lines of, "Why can't we be as free as a text message, sort of like an airplane? With an email or text message, all you have to do is write it and then..."

...and the very next page showed a big picture of her dramatically holding her cell phone up against the sky while sending the email she had written as an airplane was taking off at the exact same time while she was thinking, "...SEND!"

She later ends up meeting a boy in school with wild hair, I think it was supposed to be blonde, whom she appears to have a fascination for and I think he was supposed to be very charismatic. Later on, it might've been another issue of the same series, he was once performing as a singer for a school pop band hall wearing a boa, I think.

The book was somewhat thinner than most US-published manga with a rounded spine and a glossy paper jacket.

Does any of this ring a bell? I'm hoping someone can please tell me the title so I can check it out.

Any help you guys might have to offer would be greatly appreciated. wink

Perhaps Oyayubihime Infinity? The opening is a bit similar to what you describe, and it would have been in stores around 2006-2007.

Sounds like Sora Log by Mitsuki Kako. c:

Edit: Just kidding, I'm sorry, I totally skimmed through and all I saw was blonde boy, charisma, and planes. My bad!
