i dunno, a lot of the yuri i read is more lighthearted in nature which is fine about 45% of the time but the other 55% of the time i need something a little more.. sincere? dark? realistic? heavy? something like that

im thinking of yuri with qualities similar to gunjou (which i really enjoyed) although it doesn't necessarily have to be on the topic of murder

thanks

So like something on the more drama-filled depressing side?

These are completed
Octave - it takes a special maturity to read this and enjoy it. Not an easy story but not because of rape or suicide or anything like that. For other reasons.
Blue - I still feel the gap in my heart
Kimi koi limit - Love triangle doesn't end well
Pieta - kids with parental issues, self-harm, etc
Lonely wolf lonely sheep - Cuddly art with some uneasy underlying tone
Indigo blue - Ebine Yamaji fare, adult problems
Love my life - Ebine Yamaji fare, adult problems, it was adapted for live action
Sweet lovin' baby - Ebine Yamaji fare, adult problems
Free soul - Ebine Yamaji fare, adult problems
Candy (Suzuki Yufuko) - Has it's darker moments
Blue friend - shoujo yuri so it has bullying, sexual assault, etc.

These are still ongoing scanlation
Sugar wa otoshigoro - These kids are kinda weird
Philosophia - college kid issues
The feelings we all must endure - college kid drama, not depressing but not happy happy joy joy
