Anyone know where the anime ends in relation to the manga? Does it cover all of the manga?

Both seasons covers the complete manga and are good but go for the manga first as it is a 10/10 and a unforgotten classic.The 2 anime movies are good compilations too and the second one has one of the best endings ever. I remember 😢 . This would never run in a shonen magazine today. The original Rocky.

I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.
