From what I understand the original owner of mangatraders had officially released a message to the community saying he was retiring/not restarting mangatraders. Furthermore, since the only reason the site went down was that its username/password bank was hacked there is no real reason for it to have changed to .org from .com if it was being revived.

As to whether or not that makes mangatraders.org fake is really up to you. Regardless of the site owner and management if it fills the same role as mangatraders while respecting scanlator groups and licensing I see no reason to complain. But I don't really know all that much about the site.

thanks for replying, after checking mangatraders.org a bit longer, i see the "AnimeTako - MangaTako - MangaSee" site links at the footer so i decided to check it out & it seem to be just a clone of MangaTako/MangaSee except using the name "Mangatraders" & it even have an anime site called AnimeTako so it's not the original...

but i'd consider using it only if it've 20000+ titles like the original one instead of just 3000+... cool
